Announcement   DJP Handmade is a collaboration between Dave and Jackie Pressley. They are based out of NYC and are both in the fashion industry.

Dave began working with metal in Junior high school and made it a career by going through an apprenticeship as a machinist. Tired of the high tolerances, he wanted to focus more on the aesthetic and shape of the metal. He moved to NYC where he became a proto-type/model maker for every big name designer in the fashion world. All the while, working on his own men's jewelry/accessory lines.

Jackie loved to draw and create from an early age. She excelled in all facets of art. She attended the Savannah College of Art & design, majoring in Fashion. After college, she moved to NYC and began working with Betsey Johnson on her accessory line.

Jackie and Dave met at a design meeting and got married 6 years later. Now teamed together, they are working on many different styles of art from woodworking, photography, illustration, and of course jewelry and accessory design. Their hope is to bring design and hands on craftsmanship back to the America.
