This tile is just amazing...I love it! My father's favorite bird was the peregrine falcon, and I will think of him whenever I look at this. I've never seen this type of ceramic work before, I'm so glad I stumbled upon you while browsing for ceramic art. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous Coffee Mug! I so enjoy using this every morning, Thanks for the great customer service and safe ship!
It's not always black or white
At Jackpots Pottery, it's both - plus a bit of ruby red and an occasional dab of other hues.
This is my second Etsy shop. I started with colorful, fun and sometimes a little funky pottery with lots of color and lots of texture, not always looking like they came from the same brain. When I feel like getting wild I make pieces for that shop, called simply "Jackpots".
But then I decided that I needed a place to be a bit more serious, more refined, more elegant, a place where all my pots looked like they were made by the same person following one theme. Nature. Birds, trees, paths, flowers, leaves, creatures.
Jackpots Pottery has these pots.

My pottery career began some 20+ years ago, quite by accident when a friend offered me a potters wheel that I could keep "as long as I would use it". After a few private lessons, college classes & workshops all over the US, I am still using it.
Franny was born to a feral and rescued at 2 weeks old. The workers at the humane Society bottle fed her and kept her going till she was old enough to adopt out...that's when I happened to stop by with NO INTENTION of bringing home a kitten. Uh oh!
Zoe is a big ol' lazy cat, demanding as can be, she talks all day long and she has a BIG voice. Good thing we love her. She keeps me company in the studio.
All items are made individually, step by step - design, creation, glazing, firing photographing & packing by me - Jackson Gray, in my home studio in San Diego, California.
If you like what you see, I LOVE to get feedback.
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
If I am shipping to a California address, 8% sales tax will be added to your order.
Cancellations are accepted only on items I normally stock - before the item is shipped.
A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING: Because pottery is fragile, the packages become bulky when packing and it is hard to calculate ahead of time if things can be shipped together to save cost, therefore I don't offer a discount for shipping items together but WILL credit you a refund whenever it is possible to do so. As a generality, I can probably ship 4 mugs together in one box and simply increase the cost of shipping one by a couple of lbs, refunding you the difference between that and 4 individual shipments.
Ceramic products are fragile and require considerable packing materials to assure safe delivery. I always insure the shipment. Although rare, if your package arrives with damage, please contact me immediately and save all pieces including the box and packaging. Photos are usually required for insurance reimbursement.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Unfortunately Etsy doesn't have a way to separate within the shipping profile. The Priority costs I've listed are extremely high and I doubt there is much difference in the way the boxes are handled once leaving the US - Please send me a message with your order if you'd like me to calculate standard shipping cost & refund the difference. I generally ship the day after I receive payment, and for most items I use USPS Priority Mail. My policy is to use the fastest way possible for the amount of money I've collected. I double box and use lots of padding to protect your pottery. Packing pottery properly sometimes creates a very large package.
Also note that YOU are responsible for all customs fees which might be charged by your country on receipt of your order. Check to see if your country will charge you Customs Fees: www.dutycalculator.com/new-import-duty-and-tax-calculation/
I insure everything I ship and let you know the schedule when I receive your order.
Refunds and Exchanges
****Custom Orders: When you order a custom piece we will have several conversations to insure we agree on the details of your order. If you request it, I will send you a photo of the item in it's green ware state so you may have final approval before the item is bisque fired. I can also, upon request, send a photo of the item before I ship it. All sales are final on most custom orders.
