Announcement   Welcome to Jacqui P... Home of Happy Craft, Cross Stitch and Design, created by award winning British designer Jacqui Pearce...

We believe in colour, it makes us happy, in fact with think it is the spice of life.. We believe anyone can make beautiful things.. We believe that crafting is good for the soul.

Life is busy and time is short, but taking the time to create feeds the happy side of our hearts. We love to appreciate other peoples happy handiwork too, which is why we only use the very best components in everything we do and almost everything we create has a British provinence, from the British wool in our cross stitch kits to the classic British steel needles we use to sew. Even our bags and charts are printed in our own farm based Sussex studio.

We like to believe we create things that make people happy. Only you can let us know if we have succeeded.. Happy Stitching! JP x

ABOUT MY DESIGNS
Since 2003 I have been on a mission to revive the 'naff' crafts of my 70's childhood. Each design is created by me in our studio on a farm in historic Arundel in West Sussex, England. A crafter with little patience I worked with rug canvas and heritage British wools to develop a technique dubbed Supersize Stitches - a hybrid of needlepoint and cross stitch which is simple and quick to stitch. I have written a book about it SUPERSIZE STITCHES which has been translated across the world and had me named one of the top 5 stitchers on the planet *shucks*. I have also designed and contributed to many editorial magazines, art shows and bespoke items for brands and visual displays.
