Announcement   Hello and welcome to our Etsy store! Jaffic is a husband-wife team based in Berlin, Germany. We hand make our very unique leg warmers and Snocks (a type of cowl scarf) ourselves with the utmost attention to quality and detail.

All of our materials are sourced within the EU which is subject to stringent standards for quality and compliance with environmental regulations.

We carefully select of all materials to make the most comfortable pieces possible. We are all about keeping a high standard for design and production.

Snocks

Anyone that has made the switch from the traditional scarf has not regretted it, especially in the colder climates with harsh winds. Our cowls keep your face and neck warm, can keep your hair dry, and don't have to constantly be tucked back in or readjusted. They are also much safer to cycle with than an ordinary scarf.

Since we make everything ourselves, it leaves us open and flexible to your ideas for custom pieces, which we would be more than happy to make for you.

If you have any more queries then don't hesitate to ask us.

Ryan, Sara and Maya :)

About

The Story of Jaffic

The day we both sat down and discovered that we both wanted to start a small design company was the start of it all. We pulled our resources together and threw everything we had at it.

In a very short space of time we discovered how awesome it was to start an independent design company in Berlin. With the well attended local markets, and the general respect and enthusiasm for local designers, we were given the encouragement and initial financial support that we needed to get through the first couple of years. We also met many other designers who were trying exactly the same thing and many have become good friends and people we are now collaborating with.

After we started to with Etsy, we realised what a great platform it is for independent designers from all disciplines. It allows people to grow without the constraints of working for larger companies, and it is doing exactly that for us. We both love coming up with new ideas and seeing them develop over time or materialising into something unexpected.

We will most likely continue to be influenced by nature, animals (mostly animals) and Japanese animation, but will always be open to change.

We have a strong desire to become as sustainable and ethical as possible now. We believe it is now the responsibility of everyone to do what is in their power to help conserve the planet. A couple of years after opening our Etsy shop we both became vegan, and once we have the financial means to do so we would like to move to a vegan-friendly, eco-friendly business model, replacing wool, acrylic and polyester with organic cotton. Watch this space!

At jaffic we take pride in what we make, and we would hate to think that a customer felt that their item was in some way unsatisfactory. Therefore if you have a problem with anything you have bought please don't just leave negative feedback - let us know what it is and we'll do our very best to rectify it.

We want our customers to be happy and to shop with us again, so communication is very important to us; any messages we receive, unless we are on vacation, will be responded to within 48 hours.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort
  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
We accept credit card payments and Paypal and would usually prefer that payment is immediate upon purchasing the item. If you've requested a custom item, it will need to be paid for before work on it commences.

If you need to cancel an order and it has already shipped, we only ask that you pay for the postage to return it to us.

Taxes are included in all our prices.
Shipping
We always send our items by recorded mail and we will give you a tracking number which can be used in the event of a non-delivery. Deliveries within Germany should arrive between 5-7 working days, to everywhere else between 7-13 working days. If an item is lost in the post, we cannot unfortunately make a refund but will be happy to provide proof of postage.

If you need an item sent by express delivery please inform us before making the order, so that we can let you know how much it is likely to cost and you can then make an informed decision as to whether or not to buy.
Refunds and Exchanges
If your non-custom item does not fit correctly, or there is a fault, or if you feel it simply does not suit you, then you can return it within 14 days of receipt; your money will be refunded via Paypal. All we ask is that you pay the postage to have it returned, and that it must be sent via some form of recorded mail. We will not refund money for the original postage charges.

Items which are dirty, damaged or have already been used and washed will NOT be accepted as returns.

If a handmade custom item simply needs some alterations then we will happily do these and re-send, again we would ask that you only pay for the recorded postage to send it to us. Otherwise, custom items cannot be refunded, as they are designed to fit a specific person's measurements and may therefore be difficult to sell to another customer.

If an item is returned to us via non-recorded mail, and is subsequently lost in the post, we will not be able to refund your money.
