We ordered a quilt for our 12 month old he LOVES blankets. My husband and I had decided to order a Finding Nemo quilt. Jamie is so Wonderful to work with she was in constant contact with us for every detail and step of making the quilt. From picking out the actual Finding Nemo pattern, to picking out the other fabrics for the quilt. She also sent us pictures of every step of the quilt's process. Always asking us how it looked do we want to make any changes before she actually sewed it together. We received the quilt yesterday and let me assure anyone who is thinking about ordering from her you will NOT be disappointed. The quilt is PERFECT and I'm a perfectest. When we showed it to the baby he was so Happy he slept cuddling it all night!!! Will defiantly order from her again & shipping was also right on time with no delays :)

About

Here, Gone and Back Again!

I am a work at home mom of two kids, ages 8 & 4. I opened this shop in 2008 when I first heard about Etsy and just after my son was born. As a new mom, I had a vested interest in burp cloths, baby quilts and bibs - all things baby! Having worked in a quilt shop or two in previous years, I had plenty of fabric to get started. I made several sales that year but felt a little lost. Looking back, I wasn't making items I was truly passionate about. After going back to full-time work and welcoming my daughter into the family, I had less time to spend at my sewing machine. Now that the kids are a little older and I have made the transition to working from home, I am able to reacquaint myself with my sewing machine and have found my way back to Etsy, this time working on items that truly excite me.

As a born and raised resident of California's Central Valley, I love working with cotton (woven or knit) since we experience lots of heat and not much in the way of true cold. I try to choose prints that are modern, fun and that will work well for the intended project. Comfort is also important as I know first hand how sensitive children can be to the feel of clothing. As a former bridal seamstress, I always use professional seam finishes to ensure strength and quality.

My son is my best customer and loves to dream up costumes for me to sew. However, he even cheered me on this past summer as I made him several (practical) pairs of shorts. As I look to add more boys clothing to my shop in the next year, I know that he will have a lot of great input & influence.

Thanks for stopping by and if there's anything I can help you with, please don't hesitate to send me a message!

I've been crafting since I was elementary aged, making dresses since I was 15, and have since worked in a Bridal Alterations Room, a few Quilt shops and now out of my home. I love to bake, garden & build too - I just love to create!
