Announcement   Greetings!

We now offer baseball hats, 5 panel caps, and canvas tote bags for your chosen patch! Just select the hat or bag you want, add it to your cart - then select a patch and add it to your cart - we'll do the rest! If there is any confusion, please shoot us a message, we reply within the hour unless there are extenuating circumstances on our end, but the longest it takes for us to get back to you is MAX 24 hours. We're technologically capable ;)

PLEASE be sure to read the measurements of all the patches - some of them are smaller or bigger than you think! This is important as we don't want to disappoint!

For those who are in Canada, we remind you that there is some issues with customs currently, so if you order from us, please do not expect the patch to be there right away. Patience is a virtue!

This patch turned out to be exactly what I wanted! I got the iron on add on and it is properly secured onto my flannel with no problems. Thank you so much for all your help! I 10/10 recommend these patches to anyone who is considering buying one!

About

a hand sewn, hipster, retro, and unique patch online shop

Hiya!

If it isn't obvious enough, as the owner of Jake's Patches, my name is indeed Jake (who knew?!) and this business has become my pride & joy. As a junior industrial and interaction design major and entrepreneurship minor at Syracuse University, I created Jake's Patches simply because I knew patches were making a comeback.

It all started one hot summer morning in an air conditioned home in Western Massachusetts - I was on tumblr and saw an embroidery hoop with a cute little phrase sewn into it (some quote or somethin'). I thought, hey, I can do this! I made a few, showed it to some friends, and before I knew it, people told me I needed to try making this from nothing into something.

Here we are, one year later...
300 + patches sewn,
150+ patches sold,
200+ phrases imagined,
439285 hours spent sewing and watching Netflix (okay, that's an exaggeration)

These patches; pun-filled, coffee obsessed, and adorably motivating, are unlike any other on Etsy or anywhere! Each of them are sewn with love, laughter, and with limited sleep & lots of coffee, and I personally hope you love one or more of them and sport 'em in some way, shape, or form.

Ah, anyway, enough blabbering. Stop readin' this baloney and dig through our abundant collection of patches to find some to be delivered at your door (or, y'know, ask for a custom one, we love it either way)!

Awesomesauce!
Stay rad,

Jake deHahn

Frequently asked questions

Sizing details

Each patch has their own measurements that are noted in the description of each listing. If it isn't there, (whoops!) then let us know and we'll tell ya'!

Almost every patch is $10 (mini ones are $5) except our $12 patches due to bigger size. The bigger the patch, the cost goes up.

Custom and personalized orders

We love custom orders - but we do expect communication and patience, as we're sticklers for detail. Below are suggestions and information that people have asked about:

• Measurements will not be exact - we will get as close as we can to your requested size!

• Please remember to tell us which patterned background fabric you wish to have - just send a link to a patch with the background you like and we'll get the hint!

• We do not do images. As you can see on all of our patches, we only do phrases or words. If it is a simple "image," we can discuss, but we do not do logos, cartoons, etc.

• Different color thread other than white is not available.

• Long sentences are highly discouraged, as the price will add up. Think simply!

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every patch we send out is delivered in a cute envelope that is decorated relative to our theme - hand crafted, duh! If you're sending this to a friend, let us know which name to write in the card and if there's a personal note, we can do that, too!

People RAVE over how each card looks like a patch, and is super duper thematic, so we hope we don't disappoint!

Wholesale availability

We are always in the works with different groups of people to do partnerships or wholesale orders. If you are interested, please let us know and provide as much detail as possible.

In general - please remember that we are a one person business and do not outsource outside help. Every patch is hand sewn, no sewing machine involved, so time is also a factor. Regardless, we are willing to work something out if it's possible!

(In short, don't expect us to sew 100 hats for you in a week.)
