About janecoquillon

Sales 41
On Etsy since 2015

I first began creating art in 2011, when I discovered the world of artist trading cards and zentangle.
Before long, I'd gathered the confidence to pick up a paintbrush and begin sharing the results online. After a number of people asked to buy my paintings I decided to open an etsy store in December that year under a pseudonym (janeblogs.etsy.com).

Over the next few years I took a number of online art courses to improve my work, sold some more art, met lots of lovely people and gained confidence enough to start using my own name.
By the beginning of 2016 I no longer felt that my old etsy username fit with me. I found that I could have changed my shop name but not my username, so I bit the bullet and closed my old store in order to open this new one.

So here I am, with my weird bald girls, my humanoid animals and my other strange creatures. I hope you get as much fun out of them as I do making them.

    Owner, Artist, Marketer

In September 2011, I picked up a paintbrush for the first time since childhood and realised that Mixed Media is the something I've always been looking for. Since then, I've painted almost every day. - I'm also a wife of 18 years and mother of two.

I'm Jane, a wife, mum & cat herder from Australia.

I'm a self-taught artist working with mixed media materials like acrylic paints, oil pastels, pretty papers (yum!) and aquarelle pencils.

My favourite colour is blue, I love reading fantasy fiction and I wish we had more flowers growing in our garden. ;)

Returns and exchanges
I will refund for damaged items - just send me a picture.

I will also refund for lost items, if they have not arrived 40 days after being shipped.
I accept all payment options available on etsy.

You, the buyer, are responsible for paying any taxes or duties that may be incurred by your local customs office.
Artworks are shipped through Australia Post, using the least expensive method available.

I seal small items in a crystal clear resealable bag to protect from the elements, taped to stiff cardboard to protect from bending, and post them to you in a regular envelope.

Prints come sealed in a crystal clear resealable bag, inside a stiff cardboard bend-proof mailer.

With original paintings, I gift- and bubble-wrap each piece separately and ship them in a stiff cardboard bend-proof mailer.

Any overage in packaging & shipping costs will be refunded once I've posted your purchases.

Items sent within Australia should arrive between 2-7 business days, depending upon location.
When sending to the US and Europe, items usually arrive within 2-3 weeks, but may take longer.

For the rest of the world, I'm not entirely sure of shipping times, however if your item does not arrive within 4 weeks, please let me know.

If you would like insurance or tracking, please send me an etsy conversation and I'll find out the extra cost for you.
