I just opened the box for my Louis Vuitton style throw and wow, wow, wow! I will never own anything by Louis Vuitton but who cares...this throw is chic, luscious, beautifully made and looks like a million bucks. Just love it!

About

I am an interior decorator, High End Scavenger and Textile Whore.

I have been in the interior design business for over 40 years and I know that everyone comments that it must be so glamorous, but it takes a lot of hard work. These days I only take the jobs that I find exciting and challenging. I have done jobs throughout the country, know all the markets and sources from around the world. Even after all these years I still find it to be a wonderful life.

I also make one of a kind pillows using antique and high end fabrics. I sell now on ETSY, eBay, to designers for their projects and to small boutique shops around the country as The Empress of The Eye.

I hunt for vintage Bennison and Fortuny fabrics, French metallic gimps, antique aubusson fragments and vintage needlepoints, archival Scalamandre, Kravet and Schumacher to name a a few. I am a total textile whore and revel in it.

I traveled to Mexico's Sierra Madre Mountains to find the Otomi Indians who have embroidered for centuries to develop my collection. They are one of my strongest sellers for over ten years and I love having the ability to add to their incomes and promote their art.

I am always on the hunt for unusual and eclectic embellishments.

You can find my latest endeavors on Face Book and on Etsy.
