Announcement   Hello and welcome to my store, Jannietoots!

I recently retired as a physical therapist after 34 wonderful years. I loved my career, but I am so looking forward to enjoying my retirement with family, friends and a brand new Jack Russell puppy named Gracie!

My shop features fabric, many of which are OOP & hard to find and a few vintage items that I hope you love as much as I do! I hope to list some chenille soon.
My love of fabric and chenille started a long time ago as a little girl, watching my Mom create the most wonderful, amazing 50's clothing and many Mother-Daughter dresses, my favorites.
Mom taught me to sew when I was 7 years old and Santa brought me a wonderful little portable Singer that Christmas of '61. I proceeded to make all my groovy hippie clothes, mini skirts, bell bottoms, wedding dress, baby clothes, Halloween costumes for my babies, cowboy outfits, and miggle-aged lady clothes (whatever those are!). I took a quilting class with my neighbor, Mary Lou and discovered this wonderful new way to use the fabric I've collected for 40+ years!
On cool winter nights, I snuggled under the sweetest, softest chenille bedspread. About 20 years ago I began buying a few chenille spreads that reminded me of my childhood and just couldn't stop with 3 or 4. So many colors and designs,,,,so little time! I love them all!
If it's vintage, my husband and I would probably love it!

If you ever have a question about shipping or an item, please contact me.
