About jannyblue

Sales 53
On Etsy since 2008

I knit mostly to stay out of trouble.

I also like my hobbies to pay for themselves ...and maybe a pizza.

I'm a self-taught knitter, and I get told I'm "doing it wrong" a lot, but it seems to work for me.

Several years ago I created a pattern for knitting small pocket-sized Cthulhus.

My nerdy friends dubbed them "Knithulhus" and seemed pretty taken with them. When Kickstarter launched their "Make 100" campaign, I started thinking that maybe it was time to let a little horde-let of monsters loose on the world. I was right. People loved them.

Now, I've brought my creation to Etsy, to make them available to everyone.

Returns and exchange details
If you feel the need to cancel an order, please do so as soon as possible. I don't normally issue refunds on items that have been shipped, so please shop carefully!

In the unlikely event that something you ordered is damaged during shipping, send me an email explaining the issue, send it back to me, and I'll replace it with another one. (You will have to ship it back at your own expense)

Due to the eclectic nature of my yarn and fabric supplies, a replacement may not be exactly the same color as the original, but I will try to match it as closely as possible.

If I can't replace it or fix it, I'll refund you.
Payment
I take PayPal and Credit Cards... and I'm open to barter, at least in theory.
Shipping
I ship everything through the US postal service, usually on Saturdays.

US orders are shipped first class with delivery confirmation.

International delivery (this includes Canada) is first class, with shipping confirmation. Shipping charges reflect the cost of these services, and the packaging materials.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you want large quantities, send me an email first so we can discuss it and see if it's possible.

If you live in the state of Virginia, you're going to have sales tax added to your order. (Sorry folks, the law is the law.)
