Such a tiny stamp! Adorable! And she even got it to me in spite of earthquakes destroying her home. She's awesome and very professional!
My aim is to sell Japanese goodies that please, hence the name japanese2please :)
Hi! Welcome to my shop :) As the title suggests I'm hoping you will find lots of goodies from Japan here that will please you as much as they please me!
The name of my shop came to me in a dream, I heard my pop (who had died years earlier) whisper me the name in my sleep and when I woke up I quickly scribbled the name down before I could forget. As I did so I looked at the calendar, and imagine my surprise when I realised it would have actually been my pop's birthday that day!!! I took it as a sign that I was meant to use the name here on Etsy and have been busy building up my shop ever since! The start date of my shop which you can see on my profile is June 12th, the same date as my pop's birthday, and I really like having that reminder there knowing that Etsy is where I'm meant to be :)
Everything you see here has been handpicked with love by me from a range of sources, and I won't stock anything in my shop unless I love it myself! I sincerely hope the things you find here will bring a smile to your face just as they did to me when I stumbled upon them! I love it when I find unique items, I really enjoy looking around shops here in Japan so it's like a dream come true to be able to do it and make so many people happy here on Etsy as well :)
While most of the items I sell are things I have come across on my trips to craft stores and the like, there are also other items now available thanks to conversations with lovely customers! I am eternally grateful to those Etsy customers out there who have asked me to stock certain items for them and thereby increasing the range of items in my shop, and in doing so allowing me to fall in love with Japanese artforms and crafts yet again :)
I'm Australian, living with my Japanese husband and our four young kids in Southern Japan. I love Japan and all it entails, it is my home and it is also where my heart is.
I love the people, the culture, the language, the food, and the experiences I've been able to have as an expat living in Japan.
I also love Japanese stamps, and will use as many interesting ones I can find when I post out anything bought from my store.
Hi I'm Kelly, an Australian, living in Kumamoto Japan with my Japanese husband you can see here and our four kids :) My love of all things Japanese brought me to Japan, and I'm so pleased to be able to share my finds with you here on Etsy!
