Jarfette - Solving Fashion Problems, and Changing Lives through Compassionate Giving!
I learned to sew on a Singer treadle machine when I was 4 and made many of my clothes growing up. As I design shawls and scarves, I remember my grandmother coaching me on. I have to say that sewing machines have come a long way. I love using my serger to design.
I am building Jarfette as a social enterprise brand with compassionate giving at its core. As I supported my husband and daughter through life-threatening illnesses, I experienced how small acts of kindness helped all of us hold onto hope. When you buy from the Jarfette collections you will have a direct impact on the life of a woman in need, as a portion of the profit will be used to fund distribution of Jarfette products to women struggling with major illnesses. Please let me wrap you in comfort and confidence and give back to those women in need.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders
I can customize orders for size and fabric. Please contact me if you have any special needs. If you do not see the color or fabric you are looking for please contact me at at www.jarfette.com. We carry many limited editions of fabric.
If you have any sizing questions, please contact us before purchasing. To avoid unnecessary time and cost please take advantage of our personalized assistance before purchase to choose the best size and color.
Many of our fabrics have specialty stitching so we do not recommend machine washing. For both our polyester and most of our silks, we recommend hand washing in very cold water, do not wring, and hang to dry. If touchup is needed, iron only on the lowest setting with steam or without based on your comfort level. For many of the fabrics, you do not have to touch them. Each item is sent with care instructions and it will be noted if there are a combination of materials that require different care. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about fabric care.
The Cozy fabric can be machine washed separately in cold water, gentle cycle in a mesh bag and then dried on low to fluff it back up.
