I'm a full-time artist, usually traveling and exhibiting at art shows in Florida in the winter, out west in Colorado and Santa Fe during the summer, and around the St. Louis area (where we live) the rest of the year.

I started out designing contemporary metal furniture and created many exciting custom pieces. I now am inspired by ancient cultures and relics, which help me create my masks and wall sculptures.

For years, relaxing for me meant fishing! We have a pond on our property and I stocked it with large mouth bass several years ago. It also holds crappie, blue gill and catfish. It's a catch and release pond! My fishing passion is trout because they're found in such beautiful areas. I started making my own lures, flies and spinners a few years ago and realized that so many fishing lure components would make beautiful jewelry! So if you were wondering how I came to sell African or Aztec inspired masks and wall work ALONG with fishing lure jewelry, that's how!

Visit my blog, JayBehrle.wordpress.com, to see my upcoming art shows and upcoming craft shows. I'd love to meet you!
Jay
