5 out of 5 starsThis pattern is very well made and very easy to understand. I am so thankful for the video tutorial that comes along with it! After cutting out the fabric, the actual sewing up of the garment only took me 4 hours (and I am a newbie when it comes to knit fabric)! I will say that my baby wears cloth diapers and he is a chunky monkey. I made this one in "his size" according to his measurements but I have some fit notes for it. It's too snug in the arms and still too tight in the booty area, and the legs turned out too long. Again, he is very big for his age and that's why I went looking for a pattern to make his clothes myself (He is in 18-24mo size at 7 months old)! I'm definitely going to make more - I'll just adjust to his specific size. Again, this is a wonderful pattern that was easier than I anticipated to make!!

5 out of 5 starsThis is the second pattern I’ve purchased from this seller and they both have been great! When I buy patterns from JoAnns it has really old sewing words and they over complicate it. I think the instructions are very straight forward and it’s easy to cut out the pieces and put them together. These PJs might be a little loose in the arms and legs compared to buying tight PJs at target but I think they turned out really cute and it was fast compared to the baby PJs I made.

Hi!
I am Jacqueline, the owner and pattern maker here at Jaykaiy Patterns.
I started sewing at an early age, which created a passion for fashion and design. This passion leads to years of Fashion and Pattern Drafting studies and a degree in Advertising Design.
Because a lot of makers start sewing with the arrival of a child, whether their own or a beloved niece or nephew, I aim to make all my patterns beginner-friendly by the use of step-by-step picture instructions.
By mixing fun patterns and prints and kids' closet staples, I hope Jaykaiy will inspire you to make and define your own wardrobe.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download my purchased pattern?
As soon as your purchase has been processed by Etsy, the pattern is available to download. The Etsy platform processes your purchase and will automatically send you a link to download the pattern. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder or follow the steps below.
You can download your pattern on a computer, laptop, or mobile web browser by visiting your purchases page here: https://www.etsy.com/your/purchases
Note: The Etsy Mobile App cannot download items. However, you can visit www.etsy.com/your/purchases on a mobile phone browser (such as safari, chrome) to download your files.
How to I print my pattern on a home printer?
PRINTING:
In order to accurately print your pattern, I recommend downloading Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat for free (https://get.adobe.com/reader/).
Once you have downloaded your Print-At-Home file, open your file, select the size you want to print (if using a size-layered file), and click print*.
*Be sure to set your printer to not scale the pattern pieces by selecting either “Actual Size” or “Custom Scale: 100%”, and "Auto Orientation".
DO NOT let your printer select the paper size or scale to fit the page as this will morph and shrink the pattern. The pattern lines should print smoothly and not jagged.
NOTE: DO NOT print the file from a phone. The pattern will scale correctly.

Does the shop ship physical patterns?
No. The Jaykaiy Patterns are digital patterns ONLY.
What does each pattern come with?
The patterns are digital PDF patterns ONLY. You will be provided with an instruction booklet, a home printer file (works for both A4/US Letter users), and a large-scale, projector friendly A0-file. Each pattern listing has the files provided listed in the description.
If you are interested in a pattern that does not have an A0/projector file listed, please reach out.
*Note that the Baby/Toddler Nest Patterns do not come in A0-file format due to the pattern size.
Sizing details
Each pattern comes with a measurement chart on the information page in the instructions. Sizing depends on the pattern style but generally ranges from Newborn to 5T.
For example:
Baby or infant patterns generally start at Newborn (7lbs) through 24 Months. A large selection of baby patterns includes Preemie sizing.
Child Patterns generally range from Newborn to 5T (5 Years).
Big Kid Patterns start at 5 Years and go to 8 Years.
Beginner at sewing?
Welcome! The large majority of my patterns are beginner-friendly. All patterns come with step-by-step picture instructions. The pattern listings has the skill level listed in the description.
A collection of the patterns have video tutorials. You can find which once have video tutorials off of the listing thumbnail and the description in the pattern listing. The link can be found on the first instruction page, highlighted in red on the instruction booklet.
