Design Sensibility

My philosophy is to design with sensibility, originality and quality.

I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. I worked as a Commercial Interior Designer on corporate, medical and public projects. After 13 years, I made the decision to stay home and raise my children.

While at home, I found other ways to use my creativity. The first bag I made did not come out exactly as I had envisioned, but it was the inspiration that lead to my passion for designing tote bags. After 2 years, my hobby had grown and in 2009, I applied for a business license. The same year I joined Etsy and began my on-line business.

In my profession, my expertise is working with colors and materials. I enjoy finding the perfect materials for my bags. I design bags that are well organized and use materials that wear well and retain their shape and form. The result is a stylish and durable product, over time they retain their original appearance.

I receive a lot of personal satisfaction from working independently and being able to freely exercise my creativity as a designer.

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 5 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Contact me within 3 days if you are not satisfied. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will accept and refund items if only if unused, original condition and postmarked within 5 business days. Return in original packaging.

Custom orders are nonrefundable and not cannot be returned.
I accept Paypal and Etsy Gift Cards.

Taxes: 10% sales tax will automatically be applied to merchandise shipped to Washington state.

Purchases will automatically be canceled and relisted if payment is not received in 3 days.
Items will be shipped in 1-3 business days on receipt of your cleared payment. Contact me if your order needs to be expedited immediately. I will prioritize your order.

Merchandise will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Approximately shipping time is 2-3 business days on receipt of payment. Tracking information will be emailed to you.

WHEN MULTIPLE ITEMS ARE PURCHASED, the shipping cost for the additional items must be of equal value or more than the item purchased.

USPS Priority Mail will automatically insure up to $50 of your purchase if lost, stolen or damaged once it has been received and tracked. Jayna Bags is not responsible for goods if lost, stolen or damaged during transit or upon delivery.
