I've been drawing for all my life so far I can remember.
I wasn't very good at school and I have been lucky to enter a graphic school on my portfolio.
As I didn't learn what I really wanted, I quitted and began my own illustration/painting instruction program.
It seems that I never finished to learn then.

In the early 90s, with a good friend, we found a publisher who was nice and patient enough to let us do all what we wanted and so we could explore our own universes, hidden deep inside our head.
Even if I've always been attracted by classic books to illustrate like Christmas Carol, Peter Pan, it is tricky to bring something new when so many talented artists illustrated them so well !!
Maybe one day I will feel enough the vib' and the soul and throw my hand and brush in one of these beautiful stories.
Meanwhile, I have to admit that I have enough to fight with the creatures in my head to not to be bored and to take pleasure with and above all to keep dreaming.

During my 12 years in Canada, I've been exploring a new side of the illustration. I worked for animation films and I can say that it was a new breath to me. Working with people - and not alone on my table, being wild - learning new media, pushing away my limits, enlightened again the flame of desire and to know more. I'm eager to learn and I have a lot to do in this field. I guess this is my new evolution as an artist.
I discover the 3D and I fell completely addicted.

I don't put aside my traditional work and I just keep exploring and following my desires and dreams. I wish I could live until my 1000th birthday so that I can make the whole turn of my learning process. The more you learn, the more you see your lacks, what a vicious circle !

I don't like to be bored and look all the time for something new. However few things remain stable in my life: Margo, the cats, my books, my working table.
I'm a lucky Goblin because I have a lucky Cricket ! With all my busy head, Margo is here to light my shoulders of everything that can be heavy for my brain. Her last name means cricket in Celtic, I guess we were supposed to meet. She used to be an osteopath, and she still helps me when I need to be fixed sometimes, but now she is also a major part in my work, in the shop, in my life. We are a good Team!

After 12 years in Canada, we are now back in France. We have been through lots of heavy difficulties in the end and we had to and needed to change for a new adventure. Bye bye lovely cottage by the river and lake and hello Alsace and the pretty doll houses!
