If you are interested in creating a commissioned piece by J. Duran, please submit a Request here on Etsy and we will respond to your request within 2 business days. Lead times vary depending on size and difficulty of the art request. It will generally vary between 2-6 weeks (upon receipt of payment & confirmed details).
**ADDITIONAL COMMISSION DETAILS**
1. Pricing is based off of the number of colors selected & SF
2. If a price is agreed upon, a formal Proposal will be prepared for you with a sketch of the tapestry and all details needed in regards to the order.

5 out of 5 starsThe wall hanging is beautiful, exactly what I wanted. I sent Jay a carpet sample, and she did a great job of matching it. She was very nice to work with, answering my messages quickly. The piece was done on time and was just as she had described it. When I realized there was a problem with the hanging instructions, I contacted her, and she immediately sent me a correction.

4 out of 5 starsThe piece is beautiful. However, it arrived with only 1 wall fastener, which obviously would not work. Also, even though I was very careful hanging the piece, a few of the colored fabric strands began to unravel exposing the white base underneath.

How It All Started
I was born and raised in Tallahassee, FL and I now reside in Dallas, TX where I focus solely on creating healing/happy art as I like to call it. My artwork is a blend of all of the beautiful cities (Atlanta & Chicago) where I've had the opportunity to plant seeds and grow; with Florida of course being the most influential.
My tapestry artwork is like no other on the market. I make it a point to ensure I create art that no one else has created; which is how I even thought to use Koa Wood for many of my art pieces (and now have expanded to other exotic woods). Koa will forever be my "signature", it is a beautiful premium wood that happens to be so rare to gain access to when available on the local market and matches the esthetic of my wall art. No one piece is the same and it signifies a stand alone unique piece in its own right.
