My Background:

I was raised by two degreed fine artists who both taught workshops and won prizes at major shows in NYS. (Dad is now in Who Was Who in American Art.) The influence was overwhelming and through the years my curiosity had me experimenting in many mediums and with many crafts which I sold through various venues. It was a good life - still is although I've cut back a lot since the print-on-demand companies showed up in 2004 for me. They were a total blessing. I had been fulfilling orders from a web site I had composed that grew to over 100 pages, working 60-70 hours a week so those print on demand sites got me out from under a lot of pressure at that time.

This is the only "shop" among many, where I deal personally with customers and handle correspondence. Partially due to the time this has taken, prices reflect not only a third party with drop shipping but that correspondence dealing with requests as well.

Awards or "milestones"
1) A book I illustrated about dogs oriented towards kids won the 2016 International Book Award in it's category up against over 1500 entries.
2) Won a monied prize for Fine Art at a juried fine art show (the second I entered - in 2018) with 82 entries from top artists around the county.
3) Was one of two artists chosen as examples for the book Decorative Painting for Fun and Profit by Susan Young, Prima Publishing in 2000 - for a long time a 5 star book on Amazon.
4) Named a "Top Designer" by CafePress.com several times over the years. My ornaments still appear (as of 2022) multiple times on their first page for "dog breed ornaments" for which I am grateful.

Many thanks to all those customers who gave me permission to use their dogs starting back in 1998. You made it possible to continue doing what I love and be able to support my creative urges. I am very grateful and I treasure so many "warm fuzzy" memories exchanged over the years.
