I have been involved with photography for most of my life. As a child I remember the magic of watching my father developing prints in his darkroom setup in our garage and seeing the image on the print paper magically appear in the tray of developer solution beneath the soft glow of the "safe light". My very first camera was a Kodak Brownie using roll film (I'm really dating myself now). After that I saved up my allowance and purchased my 2nd camera which was a Kodak Instamatic 104 which used 126 cartridge loaded film. Years later my father bought me a used Argus C3 Rangefinder 35mm manual film camera and a Vivitar handheld light meter for my 14th birthday. Figuring out how to use them really helped teach me the exposure triangle. Camera technology sure has come a long way since then and now I'm exclusively shooting full frame digital cameras.

My family & I moved to the spectacular Oregon Coast back in 2001. We are very grateful to live in such an amazing area with an abundance of scenic beauty.

I have been privileged to have my work published in a variety of
publications (i.e. travel guides, magazines, advertising literature, DVD
covers, websites, etc.) and my images have won numerous awards.

I'm a former member of  the “Emerald Photographic Society” in Eugene, Oregon
where my  wife and I were actively involved. I received numerous awards in
their monthly and annual competitions.

I hope you enjoy viewing the images here and that they help convey a little
of the beauty and wonder of God's awesome hand-print so creatively displayed
all  around us.
