I was charmed by this painting when I first saw it. It looks remarkably like our 5yr old grand daughter, I just had to have it. Very pleased. A talented artist !

About

Painting --and all Art-- is my Passion

Evan began painting as a young child, and was self taught until she went to college. She studied fine art at SWOSU (Southwestern Oklahoma State University) and enjoyed a career in the aerospace world as an illustrator and graphic artist for companies like United Technologies and Lockheed Martin, as part of the Space Shuttle program. Finding it did not fulfill her creative needs eventually she quit and began painting/creating full time.
When Evan first began her Etsy shop, she had barely begun--- one piece had sold--when a personal crisis in her family demanded that she stop her efforts here for an extended period of time.
Happily things are better now and Evan is thrilled to offer her work to the art loving public once again. She hopes you will find as much pleasure in what you see here as she had in creating it.

I have been a painter nearly all of my life. I studied fine art in college at SWOSU and UCSB. After college I spent years as a graphic artist/illustrator. After leaving to paint full time, I have found joy daily in creating art.
