Lovely filigree lidded dish. Perfect for use in the bathroom, or on a dresser in my haunted bed & breakfast!! I love it.

Great accessory for my Halloween scene! I think I will fill it with little wrapped candies and set it on the table next to the front door. Very cute!!!

Terrific funky mirror! This is going to be a wonderful addition to my haunted bed & breakfast. I know that my witch, Wanda, is going to be thrilled with it. </: )

About

Every child is an artist, the problem is staying an artist when you grow up. -Picasso

It has always been important to me to stay tapped in to my creative side. I grew up in a rural area and it was up to me to keep myself entertained. From sketching wildflowers (poorly) by the creek, to crocheting during long bus rides to high school, my need to create started at a young age. I am happy to see my daughter seems to have inherited my crafty genes. Most of the time she can be found making a big crafty mess right alongside me.

Polymer clay is my main medium. I first started using it to make beads when I was in my teens, but I discovered miniatures about 12 years ago and fell in love with the hobby. I think it's because pretty much nothing is off limits in the mini world!

I love to try new things and play with new techniques. I make things that make me smile. Sometimes when I start working with a bit of clay, I don't have anything in my mind to create, It's interesting to see what takes shape! When someone else can feel a connection to one of my creations, and I can bring a smile to someone else's face, that's really what it's all about. I hope you saw something that made you smile today!

In addition to dollhouse miniatures, I also make larger figurines and charms, I knit and crochet, scrapbook, and I make a mean batch of Peanut Butter Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies!

A bit of trivia:
I chose Jellybean Minis as my shop's name because Jellybean was my daughter's nickname when I was pregnant with her. :)
