Announcement
While grateful for the extreme heat of summer to be over, the incoming cooler temperatures' also brought a sadness to our family:
The inspiration behind Jelly Bell Blankets, our cured FIP Warrior, Jelly Belly Bean peacefully passed on November 3, from a non FIP mass in her chest. Jelly was the inspiration for us taking a huge leap and beginning our small business to help pay for the costs of treating multiple FIP kitties and helping other FIP kitties across the globe.
Currently, we are actively treating 7 FIP kitties and they ALL love their new festive holiday season blankets.
Unfortunately, Savannah completed almost a month of observation and has relapsed, which means the Corona virus wasn't eradicated during the first round. Savannah contracted Panleukopenia during treatment, and survived :) She is currently in treatment and she will be given every opportunity and as long as she needs to KICK FIP's butt!! Savannah has completed 2 months of her relapse treatment and is doing very well and we are looking for her to graduate into observation in a couple of weeks.
Coco, unfortunately relapsed in her last week of extended observation and she is responding very well to the second round of treatment and has been officially adopted by us and is a welcome addition to our growing clowder.
Brodey has relapsed within the last week and has renewed his treatment and is doing very well ...
Rex and Harley are both doing well and Harley entered observation and is flying through it and Rex still has a month to go with his treatment.
Waylon and Theo are both cured and are doing very well post treatment. Healthy, vibrant and such a blessing to watch them thrive and just glow with life.
It has not been an easy journey and it's one of the hardest journeys I have traveled, and despite some serious financial obstacles, it has been the BEST journey I have undertaken. Watching these babies, reclaim their lives, one daily injection at a time is very rewarding and because there is a cure, my 10 Warriors, are here with me today.
To date, JellyBell has helped 51 other Warriors in their fight to reclaim their lives and will continue to do so.
I am very excited to offer hand crafted tied fleece blankets for your kitties! These are very durable and can withstand years of washings and can take some serious abuse by your furbabies! Please look through the inventory and make sure you stop by frequently to see additions as they are added.
The larger adult sized blankets have been selling well and we will continue select patterns in them. If there is a pattern you like and are interested in an adult sized blanket, please message us for availability..
These blankets are inspected by our quality control team consisting of Waylon and his BFF, Mushu. Theo supervises the quality control team and keeps them in line while new CEO Coco pays her workers with treats.
FIP (Feline Infectious Perotinits) is a genetic mutation of the Corona Virus which, in the past, resulted in a 99% fatality rate for kitties diagnosed with FIP and now with a new treatment, there is hope for a cure -
Your purchase helps fund treatment for kitties across the globe through our shops donation to a general FIP treatment fund. Thank you for your support and for also supporting our own 10 amazing warriors FIP journeys.
All of us at JellyBell wish all a wonderful, festive winter holiday season and Wish everyone blessings, triumphs and happiness.
For all the FIP Warrior babies, sending lots of good thoughts and healing prayers ..
