Make it small, any color you wish, put it on and wear it out!

I wanted to be an actress. We were poor but I found treasure everywhere: fleamarkets, garages, the ground. With it, I made jewelry or props, for life is a stage. At 22 I found glass and a torch. Sometimes paint and clay get to play too.

Welcome to my world of wonder! I aim to tickle fancies, derive smiles and thank the great Creator for this magical world we live in. I became an Etsy member, so I may connect with craft lovers just like you, around the globe. I am a glass and ceramic sculptor inspired by mythology, symbolism and traditions around the world. Currently featured on Etsy, is my glass “lampwork.” In lampworking, colored crystal glass rods are manipulated in the heat of a flame. After sixteen years on the torch, imagination is my only limit, so please, make a request.
Graceland Place, is not only a name, but a beautiful 200 year old log cabin and Art House in Western North Carolina. So consider joining us for a glass workshop, and return home with your own masterpiece!

Graceland Place makes yearly contributions to The Honeybee Project, the Animal Compassion Network and where horses are the therapist, Horse Sense of the Carolinas. To find out more, see: and

Additional policies and FAQs

I have built my repertoire in glass by never denying a request. So be sure to check out the Alchemy feature, where we can collaborate on a personalized glass or ceramic piece just for you. Happy clients make happy people. Requests make us happy. So go ahead, ask me?

“Can you make me a portrait of my mother/father/brother/girlfriend riding a donkey/golf cart/catfish/weiner-mobile eating a bowl of cherries with a bird on their shoulder? “
“Yes, all challenges, big or small, are warmly welcomed. I love to tell a good story.”

“May I request an item be in a different color, without a change in price?”
“Yes in most cases, Opaque Purple, depending on quantity would be the rare exception.”

“Can you make an item shorter, smaller?”
“Yes, rarely a problem, however, we do not glue glass to create stud earrings.”

“ I do not like necklaces tight about my neck? Can you make a piece longer?”
“Yes, we can determine the length that is right for you and string it accordingly.”

“ Can I get earrings with sterling silver/gold earhooks?”
“Yes, for $5, you can request sterling earhooks, or $10 for gold plated earhooks. Please note, earrings priced at $55 and higher, include sterling silver earhooks.”

You may inquire about upgrading a miniature into a paperweight, or sculpture, priced to fit your budget, just visit me in Alchemy to settle details.

Alterations and Repairs
We do not glue or ”fix” our glass, however, we can replace components. Write me to discuss the best repair scenario for your damaged piece.

Caring For Your Handmade Glass
Glass is an extraordinary material, and unfortunately can break. Wear your lampworked jewelry with caution around drinking fountains. Remove over a dresser verses the hard counters found in bathrooms and kitchens. Travel with your jewelery in a hard well cushioned case. In case a repair is needed, just contact us!
