The Start of Something Wonderful: JennaKoo

It's quite amazing the inspiration I can get from my friends and family. I was in a little funk one day and my friend suggested I make her some earrings. I recently learned how to work with gemstones and crystals in jewelry making so I decided I'd make her a pair for her upcoming birthday.....and voila! I was greeted with warm overwhelming responses from all over the place! Everyone wanted a pair of earrings, a necklace or something custom made. Jewelry making has now become an obsession of sorts, always trying to come up with new and fun ideas that appeal to not only me, but others that want to feel fun, strong, beautiful and mostly bad ass.

My materials of choice are those that are natural, vintage, unexpected, antique, extraordinary, curious, of rarity, healing, odd, strange, sparkly, dark, eccentric, surprising, and of course, beautiful. It's just me here at JennaKoo. I'm the curator, creator, photographer, model, tinkerer, and doer.

    Additional policies and FAQs

All pieces are one of a kind and customized to individual preferences.

Before purchasing the deposit listing, please look through my shop and/or social media to give yourself a general idea of design techniques in my ability.

I will inform you of the processing/turn around time at the beginning of the ordering process.

All custom orders will be handcrafted with .925 sterling silver and .999 fine silver. Each custom order is carefully designed and handmade with hours of preparation and fabrication.

    The Custom Ordering Process:

Once a design and stone(s) has been agreed upon, I will provide you with a quote. When your piece is completed the remaining balance (minus the deposit) will be due. An invoice will be sent through paypal or an etsy listing will be created and it will need to be paid within 2 weeks of finishing your piece. If balance is not paid within this time frame your deposit will be forfeited and your piece will be up for grabs to the public.

    Stone Selection:

You will be able to choose from my collection of gem stones, have one custom ordered or provide your own. Photos of available gemstones will be provided during the process.

    Additional Information:

All custom orders will be made in order of deposits received.

Through the design process if we are not able to come to mutual term on design or I am simply not capable of fabricating what you are envisioning, a full refund of your deposit will be issued.

The jewelry you are purchasing is made to last, but like all handmade items, it is delicate. Care is necessary and the responsibility of the wearer. Always remove your jewelry before sleeping, swimming, or bathing. Keep jewelry clean and free of perfumes/chemicals (this includes oils, lotions, soaps, etc.). Please remove your jewelry before any types of heavy activity, i.e. gardening, exercising. You may clean your jewelry with clear soap and water, but never use chemicals or other types of cleaners (this will destroy natural stones and remove any patina on the piece). Polishing cloths/pads are great for removing unwanted oxidization (be careful to not rub too hard or you may remove the patina). Please note that water and oils can actually change the coloration and look of natural/untreated stones over time. If this type of change is undesired, be sure to keep your jewelry dry whenever possible (remove when washing your hands, etc.).

NOTE: All damage occurring to a piece under your care is your responsibility.
