These are gorgeous notecards! I love that they support a good cause too.

This artist is incredible! I was looking for a first anniversary gift for my husband (year 1 is paper), so I decided to have her do a custom painting of our wedding venue. It turned out better than I ever could have dreamed or imagined! She communicated with me throughout the entire process. She sent me updates, gave me details, was so easy to work with, and always responded very promptly. Shipping was a breeze, and arrived packaged very securely. I love her shop and would definitely order from her again. Thanks for a beautiful work of art, and a very smooth purchase experience.

About

Original art, fine art prints, & paper goods

I have always been in love with art. As a child, my fun summer activities included going to arts camp, taking classes in acrylic painting, and even a class in cartooning (I was terrible). After some formal training in oil painting in college, I dabbled in costume design before settling back down with fine art. My current work is primarily in acrylics and watercolor, but sometimes I also work in graphite, ink, fiber, and mixed media.

Being an artist is the best job I've ever had, and I'm thankful every day that I get to awaken to coffee, cats, and a paintbrush.

She also spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy studying art at the Scuola Lorenzo de’ Medici and learning the proper pronunciation of "bruschetta."

She has shown her art and design work in both the U.S. and abroad. Jennifer currently works in a small in-home studio in Alexandria, Virginia (formerly Michigan) where she lives with her husband Jason and their two cats Red and James.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

PRINTS:
All of my prints are created with very high quality materials including pigment-based inks and archival papers. With proper care, these prints can last many decades without significant fading.

CARE:
Keep handling to a minimum. As with all art on paper, prints should not be displayed in direct sunlight or near high levels of heat or moisture; a controlled environment is best. Do not attempt to clean surface with water, damp cloth, or any type of solvent. For best protection from dust and dirt, have piece professionally framed with archival materials.

Custom Paintings

CUSTOM ORDERS:
If you purchase a custom order listing, please allow 7-9 days for production time before item is put into the mail, or timeline given in product listing (may be different). Because of the nature of custom items/paintings, the turn-around time is much longer than for ready-to-go items.

For any custom order, please be sure to check your ETSY account regularly as all convos with questions and the final request for approval will be done through ETSY.

***Make sure your ETSY account is linked to an email that you check regularly!!***

Do you offer digital prints/copies/files of your work?

No, unfortunately I do not.

In what sizes do you offer prints?

My fine art prints are printed on 8.5"x11" paper.

I love this print, but can you change the (color/wording/design) on it for me?

All of my prints are made from my original paintings, so unfortunately they are not able to be altered.

Do you offer framing?

Unfortunately, I do not offer framing. My paintings are "gallery finished" meaning they have clean, finished sides and hangers and can be hung without a frame (though you are welcome to have it framed on your own - it's just a personal preference!) I recommend not buying a frame or mat until you have your piece in hand, as color and size is best determined in person. For best results, have your piece framed professionally with archival materials.

TIP: For a more cost-effective option for works on paper, you can have a custom archival mat professionally cut for your piece, with the outer dimensions of the mat fitting a standard pre-made frame. Then you have a high-quality mat which can fit in a less expensive frame.
