Announcement   Most pieces in my shop are made to order and take from 4-6 weeks to ship. I sell mostly online and small batch wholesale. And if you live in Seattle, I sell at summer and winter shows, including Renegade Craft Fair and Urban Craft Uprising (that's if I get in as they are competitive shows).

I have a large portion of my portfolio listed on Etsy, but if you don't see what you are looking for, I welcome requests by message. I post a lot of work in progress and experiments on my Instagram @jenniferspringceramics or www.jenniferspringceramics.com

Enjoying the Spring sunshine in the studio while carving large planters. Carving is my favorite part of the process. If you want to see my work in action, follow me on Instagram @jenniferspringceramics.
This is a new design in my shop, it’s a studded teardrop planter. I hand apply each of those lovely studded dots! This texture feels amazing to touch.

About

Modern ceramics for the home and entertaining

I am Jennifer, the owner and creator of Jennifer Spring Ceramics. My path to ceramics started out while pursuing my first career in marketing for creative businesses. Pottery started as a creative outlet for my busy mind and I found calm in the practice of centering and using my hands to make work. I was hooked! And then life happened and work got too busy, met my husband, changed jobs, had two kids, and somehow 10 years passed before I found clay again.

I started back taking community pottery classes and it brought tears to my eyes because I had forgot that it meant so much to my happiness. I eventually started collecting a wheel and kiln, and everything I would need to have a full studio out of my home. It’s been over two years now that I have made this my career and I couldn’t be happier or more busy.

I’m proud to have participated in several high profile shows like Urban Craft Uprising and Renegade Craft Fair, have my work on the shelves at West Elm and Venue, and be featured on the cover of HGTV magazine.

I’m incredibly thankful to do what I love and have people support my art. My goal is to make life more enjoyable with art that feels great to touch and hold.
