Handmade ceramics for the modern home

I am Jennifer, the owner and creator of Jennifer Spring Ceramics. My path to ceramics started out while pursuing my first career in marketing for creative businesses. Pottery started as a creative outlet for my busy mind and I found calm in the practice of centering on the wheel and using my hands to make work. I was hooked! And then life happened and work got too busy, met my husband, changed jobs, had two kids, and somehow 10 years passed before I found clay again.

I started back taking community pottery classes in 2010 and it brought tears to my eyes because I had forgot that it meant so much to my happiness. I eventually started collecting a wheel and kiln, and everything I would need to have a full studio out of my home. I moved toward turning my passion into a real business a couple years ago and there's no looking back.

I’m proud to have participated in several well recognized Seattle craft shows, including Urban Craft Uprising and Renegade Craft Fair. I'm also fortunate to have been featured on the cover of HGTV magazine and highlighted as a West Coast Creative in Traditional Home Magazine.

I’m incredibly thankful to do what I love and have people support my art. My goal is to make life more enjoyable with ceramics that feels great to touch and hold. I'm strongly influenced by fashion and home decor and think about how my work fits in a modern home. I consider myself a Seattle native with a Southern California heart. I've been in Seattle most of my life, but spent my formative years living on the beach in Southern California (San Clemente).

Frequently asked questions
What happens if my order breaks in shipment?

Please take pictures of the box from several angles, pictures of the broken item, and submit them to me. I will handle reimbursement from the shipping company.

Do I get a replacement if something breaks in shipping?

I have a policy of remaking the item or offering a refund based on the customer's preference. I believe in great service and do my best to make it right in the event that shipping goes wrong. I will cover the cost of replacement and shipping.

Package returned to sender

It it the responsibility of the customer to update the correct shipping information. If the package is returned or not deliverable to the provided address in the order, either a refund with deducted shipping cost will be offered, or an additional shipping charge will be required to resend the order.

Returns and Exchanges

I will accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Unfortunately free shipping is not really free, but I like to include all costs in the purchase, so there's no surprises at checkout. If you want to return or exchange, I will deduct the original shipping cost since international and larger items, like bowls, cost up to $60 to ship. Smaller items typically cost $10 for shipping, so there's a wide range. Please message me and we can work out a reasonable refund. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost and the item must arrive in original condition for a refund.

Care instructions

All work is food and dishwasher safe, unless otherwise noted. My ceramics are microwave safe, but it will shorten the life of your piece with continued extreme temperature shock.
