From Leap of Faith to Finding My Passion and Feeding My Soul
I created my company, formerly known as Out of the Blue Jewelry, in 2007 after a leap of faith escape of the corporate world. After spending the first 10 years of my career in accounting, I had big dreams of a creative career that would give me the flexibility to spend more time with my family.
I found a renewed passion for life through my jewelry designs. I am often inspired by my childhood memories of playing with my grandmother's old costume jewelry. I love the thrill of the hunt to find unique components and found objects to incorporate into my designs. Some of my favorite items to use are old maps, dictionaries, skeleton keys, vintage rhinestones and metal tags.
My home studio is one of my favorite places to be. When I'm feeling stressed or down, I crank up some music, sit down in my studio and feed my soul.
