The ketubah is absolutely beautiful. My husband and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Jerise was awesome to work with. She did a great job of communicating and replying right away if I had any questions.

We couldn't be happier with our ketubah! Jerise was in touch with me several times to follow up on our order form and be sure that we ended up with what we wanted. She gave me instructions on how best to display the ketubah during our wedding reception. It's currently being framed and I can't wait to have it hanging in our home!

Jerise did a fantastic job on our Ketubah! I was stressed out about finding the perfect Ketubah in a really short time frame. When searching on Etsy, I came across Jerise's custom hand calligraphy work. This beautiful art speaks for itself and it was a given that this would be our choice. Jerise was a total professional through the process, always prompt in communications. He turned it around and we had the beautiful Ketubah in our hands in less than a week from the time of first contact (in spite of residing on opposite coasts). The Ketubah is absolutely stunning and was a very important part of our intimate wedding ceremony. It is currently being framed and I can't wait to hang it on our wall. Jerise's craft is a rare find this is a piece we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Jerise!!

About

Art that says yes to life, love, peace, beauty, and color.

Growing up in south New Jersey, I was always the go-to kid for drawing, lettering, coloring, painting, making dioramas and holiday decorations, and daily art of all kinds. Our family was and is proud of its mixed heritage (Jewish, Catholic, Russian, Italian, Scotch-Irish, Polish, African-American... you name it, really), and so I inherited a deep and abiding love of cultural and aesthetic variety. I love to share this through my artwork.

Hi! I am a calligrapher, painter, and graphic artist, and my personal website, with some of my older work featured, is at http://www.jerise.com. I'm here on Etsy because I believe very much in moving forward into a handmade future. Art is craft. I want to see a world where everyone has a chance to practice their art, and everyone is an artist.

In that spirit, I am very open to trades and barters, as well as custom work of any kind.

Additional note: All designs on my site, including but not limited to all ketubah papercut designs, are my own originals, and I retain all rights to them after I sell you my artwork; I am selling you the actual piece of artwork, not the design or concept itself! Just sayin'. :)

Payment
I accept PayPal, credit cards (through PayPal), personal checks, or money orders. On overseas orders, I would probably prefer PayPal (it makes the exchange easier), but I will work with you on whatever type of payment is easiest. Taxes are included in the price you see when you check out.

I ship as soon as I can finish the artwork for you, which in most (non-wedding artwork) cases is within a couple of days. If you need to cancel, please let me know asap.
Shipping
I regularly ship non-ketubah, non-wedding certificate items by US Postal Service. Regular shipping on most items is free, both in the US and internationally. If you have a deadline for your order, please let me know and I will get it there for you!

For ketubahs and wedding certificates, my standard shipping is UPS Overnight. I charge $40 toward this; in the vast majority of cases, UPS will cost more than this, but you will not pay more than $40 (within the U.S., Canada, and Mexico; $60 overseas). If UPS shipping turns out to be less, I will refund you by PayPal for the difference. You will receive tracking information by email directly from UPS.

NY SHIPMENTS:
Please note that orders shipped to New York State addresses will be charged sales tax. Within the NYC area, I am happy to drop off for free.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING--via US Postal Service or UPS:

I am happy to ship anywhere in the world that the USPS or UPS will take my packages! If the shipment charge is over $25, I may ask you to contribute toward it. Customs fees/duty taxes/VAT (Value Added Tax) are paid by me. Please check that the items you would like are not prohibited for shipment to your country:

Refunds and Exchanges
All my work comes with a guarantee of your satisfaction--if you are not satisfied, I will either replace the item with one that suits, or refund your money.
Additional policies and FAQs
~ ~ ~ Sales Tax: New York Buyers ~ ~ ~

I charge sales tax to all packages shipped to NY State addresses as required by law; this will be added automatically when you check out through PayPal. If you use another payment method, please convo me so I can calculate the added amount for you. Thanks!

Thanks!
