Ugliest necklace I have ever seen. A plastic/ rubber chain. Very cheaply made. I want to return the items immediately.

As mentioned in my shop policies I have am more than happy to refund items if customers are not happy with their order. In reply to the concerns in the review, I believe the listing accurately describes the item, both visually and verbally. The use of clear rubber cord has been specifically chosen so that the piece appears to 'float' on the body. I found that chain interferes aesthetically with the linework of the design. Additionally, all work is handmade by myself to high standards - not cheaply made at all. Again, I am more than happy to address any concerns customers may have.
Constellations for the Body
My jewellery-making journey began with one-on-one studio instruction in Taxco, the hub of silversmithing in Mexico. The metalsmithing bug bit me and after some classes in New York I returned to Australia to start a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Gold and Silversmithing. Upon completion of my study, I bounced back to New York where I honed my craftsmanship skills while working for a number of other jewelers.
It was at this point, way back in 2004, that my star constellation work began. I was dancing around ideas of finding continuity while traveling. The one constant, no matter where I was, was the night sky. And so I began to focus on imagery from up above - bringing shooting stars, floating moons and hurtling comets down to earth in the form of sterling silver jewellery. Of course it didn't take too long to notice the inherent beauty of the star constellations as visualised all those thousands of years ago by the ancient Greeks and so my Zodiac Constellation work began!
2010 saw me move to Byron Bay, Australia and by late 2011 jesikajack was created, production in my home studio began and my etsy store was opened.
Settling down allowed me to find the head space to begin fully exploring the design possibilities previously left to just bounce around in my head or float around on scraps of paper. The opportunity to create a full range, highlighting not only zodiac constellations but also introducing the Southern Cross constellation and exploring different ways to marry sterling silver and titanium has been most fulfilling.
To this day each piece is designed and handmade by myself and I cannot think of a better way to spend a day than by connecting with materials and tools within a space of mindful making to produce quality wearable artworks.
