I purchased this as a gift for my mother and she loved it! I'm not surprised, I have my own boxy bag and they are well-made with a nice attention to detail. Perfect size for a pair of socks or fingerless gloves.

Lovely. Well stitched. Roomy enough for most small knitting projects. JessaLu is a quality seller.
Making a Quality Product with Quality Materials
In early August 2008 I attended a fiber retreat in upstate NY. I brought along a few bags I had made for friends and everyone at the retreat loved them. They insisted that I needed to sell these bags, that they were some of the best box bags they had ever seen. I was a little doubtful - after all, these were my friends telling me this and friends can be a bit biased ;o) - but I opened the shop anyway and here I am, 4 years later, still making bags on the same 1935 Singer 15-91 in the same room in the same 18th century house in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
I love old things, I'm an historian at heart, so I use an antique machine and live in an antique house. My fabric, however, is always new, always pre-washed and always ready to be made into a bag that will be loved by its recipient.
I hope you can find something to love in my shop that will keep your knitting cozy, thanks for stopping by!

Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
Please pay amount due immediately upon purchase using Paypal. If you can't pay immediately, please be sure to pay or contact me regarding payment within one business day. Thank you!
If you do not like to pay with Paypal, I suggest you go to my url: www.stitchedbyjessalu.com to purchase. There are more payment options available, including Amazon Payments and secured credit card options.
International (including Canada) orders will be shipped via First Class Mail. I feel International Priority Mail is too expensive and, unfortunately, does not offer reliable tracking. However, if you wish to pay for International Priority, I am happy to send it that way. Please convo me prior to paying for your order and I will adjust it accordingly. At this time, the cost is $12 to Canada, $14 to all other countries.
If you wish your international order to be tracked outside of the US, the USPS offers Global Express Guaranteed service. For one bag, the cost is $32 (that is my cost with no markup). If you wish to have your bag shipped this way, please convo me and I will put up a reserved listing for your bag with this shipping cost.
Thanks for understanding!
Additional policies and FAQs
I live in Massachusetts (Eastern US Time Zone) and I have found that I need to step away from the computer/email from time to time so I don't get burned out and decide to stop making bags. If you send me an email or convo after 6pm or on a Sunday, please don't be upset if you don't hear back from me until the next business day.
If you have some fabric that you'd love to be made into a bag or a skein of sock yarn that you'd love to have made into socks please convo me and we'll discuss it! (please note that custom requests are for fabric only - I cannot take requests for custom bag designs at this time and if I do not have the fabric in stock this will add significantly to the delivery estimate)
