Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

Due to custom orders being specially made at your request, they are pricier, and will take longer to arrive than a pre-made item-- please be aware when ordering! A custom will take at least 4-6 weeks to fabricate.

I am open for commissions of creatures which I have not created a pattern for yet, but these sorts of commissions WILL be more expensive, since they include the time it takes to design the pattern.

How sturdy are these plushes?

So sturdy! Each one is made by hand to be high-quality and long lasting. I take special care to make sure that each plush will hold up to normal stuffed animal wear and tear. Just spot and surface wash to maintain!

Are your plushes safe for children?

Yes-- my products are meant to be child-friendly.

Most of the plushes are fine for children over the age of three.
Custom plushies can be made to have embroidered eyes (rather than safety eyes) and without polypellets and rice, making them more suitable for tiny babies. Just specify when ordering!

If you have specific questions about any of the pre-mades, please ask!

What materials do you use?

High-quality minky, fleece, felt, and faux suede are my usual fabrics of choice. I fill them with silky-soft polyfill and polyfill pellets.

I typically use safety eyes, which you can read more about
here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SuncatcherCraftEyes

and here:

I work at a fabric counter and I use my knowledge of materials to make sure that everything is of the highest quality and craftsmanship. If you receive a product that you think is defective or damaged, please let me know and I'll do what I can to remedy the situation!

Shipping times and delays

After an order is processed (when your check, card, or paypal clears), it usually takes two to four weeks to complete the order for shipping. If it seems to be taking a long time, contact me, I'm usually just very busy, and try to visit the post office when I can ship several orders at the same time.

Custom orders DO take longer, due to production time being added!

Some times of year are busier than others-- please plan ahead and order early if you want your plushes to arrive in time for major holidays. Don't wait until the last minute! If the order is needed by a specific date please specify so in the notes section of the order.

Why can't I get ahold of you? Did you get my message?

Please message me here on Etsy if you have any concerns about your order!

If you send a message and I don't reply right away, I'm not ignoring you! I just have a lot going on. I work full time as well as running this shop and working on freelance commissions. Please be patient, and if I don't get back to you in 3-4 days, send another message in case I missed it!
