These came out really well! Lynn was very accommodating & was able to make these in silver instead of gold for my bridesmaids! They also came very quickly! Overall, fantastic! :)
I came to jewelry making through quilting of all things!
I found that I loved to add beads of all types to my quilts, and soon began buying and collecting them for that purpose. Since each of these hand beaded pieces take several weeks or even months to make, my bead collection eventually turned into a huge stash that I couldn’t use up fast enough! I just couldn’t resist buying beautiful beads, so I learned how to make jewelry so I wouldn’t feel guilty about purchasing them! My favorite beads are made of semi-precious stones, with turquoise being my absolute favorite. I also enjoy using pearls and crystals, and have always preferred gold to silver for my own jewelry. (Who wants to polish silver?)
I originally started my Etsy shop to sell both my jewelry and my quilts; thus choosing the name “Jeweled Fibers” to incorporate both interests. It also describes my beaded quilts. But I had been so busy with the jewelry aspect of the business that I have just started to photograph and list my quilts. I guess I had not been ready to part with them; it’s hard to sell something that took you hundreds of hours to make! It will take a long time to get my many, many, quilts photographed and into my shop, so come back often and check for new ones!
I am a retired dental Assistant who finds enjoyment from making jewelry, quilting, spending time with my grandchildren and family, and helping others through my church. Life is busy, fun, and fullfilling!
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
Jewelry will usually be shipped in a padded envelope by USPS First Class. I use recycled packaging whenever possible.
Sorry, but I cannot be responsible for items lost or broken in the mail unless insurance is purchased. Please contact me if you would like insurance or Priority Mail.
For the last 4 years the United States Postal Service has raised the rates over 100% for foreign orders. It is now complicated, confusing, and SO very expensive to ship to other countries. Because it now costs almost $7.00 to ship a pair of my earrings almost anywhere, I have deleted foreign orders. However, if you are willing to pay the high postage, please contact me before purchase and I will quote the exact postage to your country for you, and be happy to ship your desired items.
Refunds and Exchanges
My jewelry is strung on wire to withstand at least 35 pounds of weight, and should not break in normal wear. If you should need your jewelry repaired in the future, I will be glad to repair it for a nominal fee.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you want to order more than 6 pairs of earrings, I will give you a discount on your order if you contact me first and I will make a special listing for you.
Wholesale inquiries are also welcome.
