designed with love byMazy

Hello etsians,

Why byMazy? Because byMazy is fire, passion, excitement, and sizzle. All our works are designed with love. We invest a lot to get an authentic look of our designs. Our motto: ❝FIND.YOUR.FIRE.❞

We have been making fine art jewellery since 2017. In late 2018 we started populating our Etsy shop. We develop new designs continuously and we do not mass-produce our designs. Every single piece in our collection is meticulously engraved with byMazy's symbol to verify the authenticity of your piece.

We believe that our mission is to tell you a story and each time it should be a new one allowing to dream and escape into a world of unfettered imagination. Inspired by history and nature we always try to transcend the humdrum and commonplace.

We thank you for your choice. You have become part of our history.

Our symbol . byMazy's fire

In alchemy the fire element symbol is an upward-pointing triangle. It represents our inner light as well as a living symbol of the Divine fire that burns in every soul. Fire is Mazy's passion, compulsion, zeal, creativity and motivation. Mazy is the designer, Maria Merz.

The dot in our symbol represents the spark, the focused thought which gives birth to creation in the physical and mental realms, everything that is yet uncreated in our physical realm.

Every design piece starts with paper sketches in hand. This visual idea becomes a 3D CAD (computer-aided design) file refined in steps that gradually reach finer details. We rely on 3D printing and prototyping throughout the product design and development process.

The most advanced 3D printing and casting technology is used to produce our designs. Through this innovative technology, complex designs no longer need to be discarded. We can fully explore the limits of our fantasy and amaze with intricate, inspiring designs that could only be produced with 3D printing and casting technology.

All our pieces have a purity and responsibility mark applied using lasers. The responsibility mark represents the party standing behind the purity mark, our manufacturing partner Shapeways, 3D Printing and Casting Services. The purity mark guarantees that the article conforms to all legal standards of purity/fineness. To ensure the quality of all our pieces, a recognized Hallmark is applied to all our pieces above the legal weight threshold of 7.78g of silver, 1g of gold and palladium, and 0.5g of platinum. We have our own maker’s mark which is registered and held at the London Assay Office.

I welcome you to get in touch if you have any queries and if you ever have any problems with a purchase from Jewellery byMazy. If you’d like, you can also contact me directly at maria [!at] and I will be happy to work with you to resolve any issues.

We believe that jewellery – from the most precious to the most casual – is meant to be worn every day – not locked in a safe. Some scratches and dings can happen, perhaps even some tarnishing – and that’s okay!
Many factors can influence the condition of jewellery. Therefore you should make sure that your jewellery is properly cleaned and stored. Click this link for full details:

Our products can be produced in a large variety of materials. Our manufacturing process gives us the unique opportunity to design and make products for an increasing large catalogue of material choices.

Please contact us if you have any specific concerns regarding materials or our manufacturing process. Thank you! ツ

Solid Sterling Silver, made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.
Lost-wax casting technique is used to fabricate sterling silver products. The original wax model is first printed using a 3D printer. From there a mold is made around the wax, before it is melted and filled with solid silver, creating the product.

Is it Sterling Silver and hallmarked?
Yes, we have our own maker’s mark which is registered and held at the London Assay Office. This guarantees the purity/fineness of the metal. For more information hallmarks, read our Hallmarks guide:

18K Gold, 18K Rose Gold, Palladium and Silver (black color - plated) and Rhodium plated products are cast in brass and hand-polished to a fine sheen. Each product goes through two plating steps - first a layer of tin-rhodium is applied to provide strength and durability - then your selected precious metal plating provides the finish. Electroplating is 0.25 microns thick which is perfect for occasional wear. Our plating finish comes with a 6-month guarantee. For jewelry for everyday wear, we recommend trying Sterling Silver.

Titanium is lightweight, very strong, corrosion-resistant material. It has a matte gray finish with a slightly reflective satin finish.
