Announcement   Looking for something a little different? I cut and polish about 85% of the cabs myself and I take pride in offering a start to finish piece, but I do purchase a few stones from time to time, from other Etsians that do their own lapidary, here in the USA, particularly if I spot something that I don't have.
I hand fabricate the settings in my northern California workshop. I use sterling silver, 14kt. gold, Argentium sterling silver, copper & brass for my creations. In addition to the fabricated pieces all pearl necklaces are handstrung and handknotted by me. I usually don't make multiples of each item. There are one or two exceptions, pearls mostly. Most others are one of a kind creations. If you are looking for something truly artisan made, please take a look around. I do take custom orders, working with the customer to produce a piece that they will truly love.

Absolutely beautiful stone and a gorgeously done ring! Seller went the extra mile to personally email me and to let me know when the package would ship which was a nice surprise! I'm so happy I purchased this because the stone truly is more beautiful in person! Thank you so much!

About

Loving every minute!

After taking several semesters of lapidary classes and getting involved with the local rock club, I took some time for other interests. But I found myself back at the college and working rocks once again. Another friend talked me into expanding my talents and taking the jewelry classes too. It actually made sense, as my relatives and friends were tired of getting polished stones for gifts and thought the jewelry was a much better venture.
I started with the simple things...beaded necklaces, earrings and some simple bezel set pendants, but I wanted to really utilize all the stones I polish. So, I started making more of the set pieces and fewer of the strung necklaces. I also studied pearl stringing and got quite good with the hand knotting. I still make a few pearl necklaces each year and string some stones when I run low on necklaces. But my true passion is the stones set in hand fabricated settings.
My husband has graciously allowed me to set up a workshop in part of our home and I have a wonderful private space for my creativity. And while he has his business, I have mine and I can work right here.
As I add to my equipment, I also add to my ability to try new things. It's been a great way to express my creative side. I look forward to growing in the years to come.

I started in the field of lapidary, taking classes at the local junior college with a friend. She dropped out after the first semester. I kept after it. I loved what the rocks would become. That was in the early 90's.

Shipping
Most items are shipped USPS Priority Mail. Items over $100 are insured if mailed to the continental US. If an item is not offered with insurance, I can provide it for you, at an extra cost (whatever the post office charges). If I have listed that an item will ship First Class Mail, you can request Priority Mail and pay the difference. I try to package and ship within 2 business days. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
International shipping is always welcome. The extra is whatever the post office will charge me. Just request a quote.
Refunds and Exchanges
All sales are final. But there are always exceptions to the rule. For instance, if the item arrives damaged in shipping, I sent the wrong size, or maybe even sent the wrong item. However, because of all the fees involved in the sale and the fact that jewelry can be easily damaged once it is someone elses hands, you must inform me immediately that what you received is not what you ordered or that you feel it is not what was represented for sale. My descriptions are very accurate. Please read them.

If you need to return an item, you will be responsible for the return shipping, USPS Priority Mail, insured. If I made a mistake, then I will refund the amount of the postage and any insurance you may have paid.
