These were shipped to me so fast, it was even quicker than getting something delivered within my own country. Thanks I really appreciate it.

About

A box of interesting items.

It all started when a 106-year-old family member died, leaving me a large box of very interesting items. They were mostly jewelry and accessories, some of which were many decades old. Evolving and curating my unique collection of interesting things is now a beloved hobby of mine. Anything that doesn't resonate with me, I list for sale because it might speak to someone else.

I love researching the pieces I find as well, so I welcome questions about the origins of my items.

I'm a yogi, dancer, and personal trainer, by profession and passion. I also love picking vintage items & have a special fondness for the histories of fashion and medicine. I make jewelry too, although I often become attached to it and don't sell.

Payment
If you have never purchased from Etsy before, please read this to see how easy the process is: http://www.etsy.com/help_guide_checkout.php

I accept payment via PayPal or money order. For Paypal orders, payment is required immediately at time of purchase.
You do NOT have to be a PayPal member in order to do this. PayPal is just the facilitator, and does not require any kind of sign up.

For money orders: Please make them payable to me by name, Julia Workman. My mailing address will be automatically provided at time of purchase. Upon receipt of the money order by me, I will ship your item within 3-7 business days.
Shipping
Because my operation is so small, I do not automatically insure packages. However, if you would like me to purchase insurance for your package, I can do that for an extra $7.00, just send me an Etsy message before you order and I will adjust the shipping options.

Everything listed in my shop is ready to ship, unless otherwise specified, and I will ship your item within 3-7 business days after your payment clears.

I package everything super carefully, but if something happens to your item during shipping, although I can't be financially responsible, if you would like me to try and repair it for you, please don't hesitate to ask. That said, I have never had any problems with shipping in the past.
Refunds and Exchanges
I don't want you to have anything from me that you don't love. If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, I will refund your money, minus shipping costs, if the item is returned in its original condition, postmarked within 7 days of when it was received. I can only issue the refund when and if the item is received by me.

Also, If you know in advance that you would like an item altered for any reason, please message me before ordering and I will be happy to do whatever I can to accommodate you. If you don't discover a problem with the item until after you've received it, and you would like me to fix it for you, please contact me within 7 days of receipt of your item, explain the problem, and I will let you know whether I can fix it. You must pay the shipping from your end only.
Additional policies and FAQs
*** Custom Orders: I love doing them, so please don't hesitate to ask!

*** Gift Orders: I am happy to ship to a giftee's address, and I offer free custom giftwrapping! I am happy to accommodate most custom giftwraping requests (i.e. 'red and blue ribbon', 'black tissue paper', 'something with lace', etc.). If you are interested in custom giftwrapping, please include your ideas or instructions in the "message to seller" at time of purchase. If I have a problem completing the order, I will message you via Etsy within 48 hours.

*** Caring for your Handmade Jewelry: I don't recommend wearing my pieces while swimming or bathing. Anything metal can be shined with a polishing cloth.

*** About My Materials: Most of my materials are vintage, salvaged, and/or from nature. Some things look old, and some metal patinas and other materials don't match exactly. Many times, I purposely leave them that way, because I think it adds to their uniqueness. Be assured that I do take great care to make sure that my pieces won't crumble in your hands, rub tarnish on your clothes, or inconvenience you in any other way. When I use materials from nature, I sterilize them first. I will try to be as thorough as I can in photographing my items, but if you still have a question about how something looks, please feel free to contact me.

*** Nickel- and Lead-free Guaranteed: All of my handmade earrings will have new, nickel- and lead-free ear wire and stud posts. Same goes for clasps that may touch the skin on necklaces and bracelets. I do love recycling, but I also care about your health and safety, and for this reason, I use new findings (where specified, some of my findings are manufactured from reclaimed metal).

*** Vintage Finds: I cannot guarantee that these pieces don't contain nickel, lead, or other irritants. If this is a concern for you, please contact me, and I may be able to switch earwire, stud posts, or clasps with new, nickel- and lead-free ones. There may be some vintage pieces, however, that cannot be altered. I carefully clean all vintage pieces before shipping them.
