About

I'm happiest when I'm creating things

I've always had a need to make stuff. When I was young my favorite activities involved creativity and crafts. I started making jewelry about 12 years ago after taking a Metalsmithing class at our local Art Center. I was immediately hooked and the 6 days of waiting in between classes to work on my first ring was absolute torture. I started buying tools and supplies and slowly set up a shop in my basement. Friends began asking me to make things for them too, so I happily obliged, enjoying the creative outlet that jewelry design was providing me. I am the Executive Director of a busy non-profit clinic and find the creative process of jewelry making to be therapeutic and a nice break from the stresses of work and daily life. We recently bought and moved into a 150 year old house that was previously a church for 100 years. This space is a wonderful place to be creative! I'm happiest when I'm creating things.
