About

Just a creative visionary looking to tell my story through things I wish existed.

I started my shop on the premise of telling my story through my own personal stylings, curations and things I wish I could find somewhere.

Birthed in San Francisco, got lost in Los Angeles, found my way through Japan, and now reside in Brooklyn.

I am a right-brained/free-thinking/left-handed scribe that uses the majority of my creative motor skills with the right side of my body.

Among my many interests, I find comfort and solace in creating with my hands be it apparel & accessory or artistry through makeup and find that I'm most in my element when I sing.

I love teaching people how to be open minded and feel that most of my personal growth in life has come from this. Some day I hope to take J. Faye and make it my life and inspire others to do the same.

Hello, and thank you for shopping at my shop!

Above all else, most of what I post on my Etsy shop will be handmade with some hand selected vintage.

What you see is pretty much a collection of shit that I wish I could buy, come into fruition.

Payment
Look, I know that sometimes, the only time we have is to click that buy button but don't have time to pay; so, I will allow a 3 day wait for payment to be received, or else I will re-list the item to someone else who wants it more. UNLESS, the you contact me with a tale of woe and I will wait for what I think is a reasonable amount of time.
Shipping
When paying by PayPal...

Your PayPal address MUST match your Etsy address. If it does not, I will ship it to your PayPal address listed. All shipping is done via PayPal. If you need special arrangements for your item(s) to be shipped anyplace other than your PayPal address, please let me know in writing ( email ), rather than just adding it into a message at the end of your payment confirmation. Items shipped to the wrong address are the fault of the buyer's failure to comply with this rule and will not be reimbursed or replaced.

[you may be asking, "How long will I expect to receive my order?"]
As you know, sometimes life gets hectic. Since I am a one woman factory, I please ask you to be patient. After I receive your payment your purchase will be shipped within two days of the sale, unless the item is made to order. Please allow two weeks for made to order items.

In the ungodly event that your item will get lost in the mail, I will only offer insurance if you ask for it. Insurance will be available upon request. Otherwise, it is all up to the hands of the shipping gods to get to you at all.

Items are shipped USPS Priority mail unless it would be much cheaper to ship via USPS First Class, as it is to Canada. Faster shipping methods are available upon request.

International Shipping:
Please be prepared to pay a higher fee for shipping, as it is impossible to list how much an item will cost to "everywhere else". Shipping international usually means that the cost is higher and the buyer may pay taxes in their country. I live in the United States and will use the least expensive shipping option for your wallet, yet will also keep time in mind. (i.e. I won't ship ground, which takes months) International shipping is not guaranteed, so keep in mind that I will do everything within my power to get the item to you, yet outside of the U.S. it's impossible to track an item. I have never had a problem with international shipping in the dozens of transactions all over the world though. If you desperately want an item to be shipped elsewhere, I will work out some shipping options with you, just send me a message! I just need to add a disclaimer! :o)
Refunds and Exchanges
No returns, in shop exchange or credit only. I do my best to make everything perfectly, well-tailored, and top notch.

Items that have a problem caused on my end can be returned to be repaired on a case by case basis.

Sale items and custom orders are non returnable and non refundable, no exceptions.
Additional policies and FAQs
Honestly, when I visualize an idea in my head, I wish it would just pop out ready to go. I wish I could go faster, but I am one person running this shop and making everything by hand, entertaining copious conversations, fabric shopping, shipping, etc. Lots to do.

I take great pride in my work and make sure that the quality of my items are top notch. I will not sell something that I am not absolutely 100% proud of.

You may ask, "Do you do custom orders?"

I will consider custom orders and work with you to determine scale of the order, material costs, etc. Please be prepared to pay AT LEAST $20 more for every custom order, this includes change of fabric, color, or added elements.
