Additional policies and FAQs
FAQs

1. What length veil should I wear?

The cathedral length is considered a "royal veil". This style is worn at formal weddings and is usually worn with gowns that have a chapel or cathedral length train.

The elbow length is generally worn with gowns that do not have a train. It is a wonderful style for a more casual wedding, as it does not over power the bride or the gown.

The fingertip length length extends to the fingertips. It looks fabulous with many gown styles. It can be used for both semi-formal and formal weddings.

2. I know what veil length/style I would like, but I may need it shorter or longer than the standard. How do I take a measurement, so my veil length will be accurate for me?

To ensure proper measurement, ask someone to assist you with this. Take a string and measure from where the comb will sit in your hair to desired length (usually to elbow, fingertip, or edge of train). Measure the length of string in inches with tape measure. This is your custom measurement. Enter this information when placing order.

3. What kind of fabric is used to make our veils?

Our veils are made of the softest and sheerest bridal illusion which drapes beautifully over your gown.

4. Can I get a fabric swatch?

Yes, call or email us at jfyBride [!at] yahoo.com and let us know what color swatch you would like. We will send it at not cost to you. Free swatches are mailed with in one to two business days.

5. When can I expect my veil or accessories to arrive?

After order is placed and payment has cleared items will be shipped in ten business days.

6. Can I return or exchange anything I have purchased?

Our collection of veils and bridal accessories are all custom made for you with your monogram. Because of this our veils and accessories cannot be returned. We take great care in inspecting each order for any flaws or defects, rest assured we ship only the highest quality veils and accessories. Our products are checked for accuracy multiple times.

7. Will my veil get wrinkled when it is shipped?

Your veil along with any other accessories you have purchased have be packed very carefully. When you receive your veil, take it out of the box. Get a pant hanger with cardboard covering the bottom of the hanger. Drape the veil through the pant hanger, so the veil is resting on the protective cardboard. Hang it in a place where it will not touch the floor or will not be crowded by other clothing or items. When the veil is shipped, it will have some slight wrinkles, but they will fall out in a few days if you follow these directions. The weight of the veil (when it is hung per these instructions) cause the wrinkles to fall out. It is very important that this is done as soon as the veil is received. Under no circumstances is a veil to be ironed.

8. Can I see how my initials will look before the veil is sewn?

Yes, if you are interested in ordering a veil, but would like to see a embroidery proof of your initials in the monogram of you choice please email us at jfyBride [!at] yahoo.com. We do not charge for embroidery proofs. We will send the proof by email.

9. Where do you ship?

We ship throughout the United States and internationally.

10. Can you monogram a veil I have purchased from another store?

Yes, please contact me through etsy, or at 334.315.1931
I can set up a reserve listing for you, for a monogram only. After your purchase of the monogram only service, you will mail your veil to me at the following address.
