Contemporary Abstract Landscape Paintings

Jacquie Gouveia is a self-taught abstract landscape painter living in the agricultural town of Carver, MA. She received a degree in Accounting from Bryant University in 1989 but followed her passion for creating art in 2000 to become a painter.

Gouveia has sold her paintings in the US, Canada and Europe to both private and corporate collectors. She has shown her works both locally and in New York and is represented by the Water Street Gallery in Douglas, MI. Her work has been featured in West Elm's catalog and web site. In March of 2012 she was selected as a Top 50 Emerging Artist by the editorial staff of the NY based magazine "Art Business News".

    Owner, Painter

I strive to put on canvas a moment in nature. By relying on simple compositions, multiple layers and a masterful selection of color, my landscape paintings capture the essence of these pure moments. I like to think of them as nature's embrace.

  • Mike Taylor

    Photographer, Creator

Inspired by Jurassic Park, Mike decided to pursue his dream of being an animator. Since graduating from AnimationMentor Mike has been bringing characters to life for over 15 years. His work appears in television, film, video games and museums.

My family is filled with talented and creative people. One of my nieces, Marissa Marvel, has been making these very cool fluid acrylic pour paintings. As the loving aunt that I am, and with her permission, I'm helping her promote her shop and her work.
