Art from Fiber... all kinds, all processes.

Several years ago I discovered the world of Fiber Art and Art Quilting. The idea of being able to combine my love of fine art and design with my love of sewing was just so compelling. I discovered a whole new medium in which to express myself. Using traditional cottons as well as packing materials, found objects, beads, dryer lint (one of my favorites!) and non-traditional quilting materials, I started making art quilts. I loved it and found success in several shows and exhibitions .

I am also a photographer, consequently, I incorporate my original photography into many of my art quilts. this is done by having them printed onto fabric that is then pieced with other fabrics, stitched and embellished. Enjoy!
