jillbent's Shop Policies
Thank you for visiting Jill Bent Handmade and Vintage. All handmade items are made by me in my studio in Cambridge, MA from vintage and natural materials. All vintage items are New England sourced.
Jill Bent Handmade and Vintage accepts PayPal, and Etsy direct payment. Immediate payment is expected.
Orders ship 1-2 business days after your payment has been received.
All domestic orders are shipped USPS First class mail, USPS Priority mail or USPS Parcel Post, depending on the size and weight of the package.
Priority Mail includes a delivery confirmation tracking number from USPS, and $50 insurance. First Class and Parcel Post do not include tracking or insurance. Please contact me at time of purchase to request that the package be tracked and/ or insured, as it needs to be done at the time of shipping.
International orders are shipped USPS air mail international. There is no tracking for international orders.
Jill Bent Handmade and Vintage is not responsible for any loss or damage during transit.
All shipping and handling costs are priced from the east coast to the west coast and are estimates. Upon request, I will refund any overage when the difference is more than $5 (minus the cost of packing materials and handling) via the payment method you have used.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are not happy with a handmade item please contact me within two days of receiving it and I will refund you the cost of the item in the method you have paid for it once the item has been returned. All items must be returned in new and unused condition. I'm sorry, but I cannot refund you for shipping and handling or for return shipping.
Sale, made to order and custom orders are not returnable.
All Jill Bent Vintage sales are final. All vintage items are sold as is. Please check measurements and photos carefully before purchase. I do my best to convey the condition of each item in my photos and product description, but please contact me before purchasing if you have any questions.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I am happy to create a custom order for you. All custom orders must be paid in full before I begin work on your custom item. Most custom orders take 1-2 weeks to complete. Custom orders are not returnable.
It is my shop policy not to give discounts on handmade and vintage items at the request of a customer.
I have two sales a year in my shop. If you would like to join my mailing list to get notices about sales, please contact me and I would be happy to add you to the list.
