Growing up, my sister and I spent hours making paper doll collections. As I got older I realized I didn't have to stop playing with paper. I added fabric along the way and it's developed into an array of creations from purses to jackets to paper birdhouses and mobiles. I combine my sense of color, texture and pattern along with a dash of whimsy to create all the pieces you see in my shop.

My illustrations are collages combining cut paper from a vast collection of wonderful art paper with pastel and colored pencil added for depth and detail. Many of the art pieces for sale on Etsy are from various books that I've illustrated. My fabric pieces are an extension of my illustrations exchanging fabric for paper but still working out the intricate colors, patterns and textures...and of course that dash of whimsy.
