These plates are amazing! I bought this (and another) as a wedding present. The bride and groom loved them too! I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from Jimbob again...I'll have to get some for myself!

I love these side plates so much! I bought this (and another) as a wedding present and the bride and groom absolutely loved them as well!! Delivery was quick and they arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The hardest part was deciding which two plates to choose and not keeping them for myself :)

High quality china mugs. so I immediately bought a second set. This may be my go-to housewarming or wedding gift in future.

Illustrated Ceramics

I graduated just over seven years ago with an illustration degree, happily working and putting on exhibitions. When we first started at University there seemed to be more and more examples of illustration in mainstream media, newspapers, magazines and books. Just as I finished studying, the financial climate had changed quite dramatically and it was more difficult to pick up freelance work. So instead, I decided to find an application for my drawings; the first was printing my own t-shirts. For my thirtieth birthday, I went on a long weekend holiday to Stockholm and was hugely inspired by all the natural history based surface design and decided to start drawing on ceramics

I setup my business over 5 years ago selling hand drawn plates and prints of my artwork. I would hand paint the plates to order. I developed my products originally for sale at markets around London. I would try out new designs and got feedback to which ones I should keep drawing, I would then post them on Etsy and if they sold I would then paint another and send it out. My business has changed since then I now have to get my designs printed on the plates. I cannot keep up with the demand of hand drawing each one but also creatively it became a very tedious repetitive job, doing the same designs over and over again. I now employ one person that looks after my online and bricks and mortar shop so I have more time for commissions and new designs.
