Announcement   All items are created by me using simple tools and hand building techniques allowing for a contemplative and deliberate process. As life gets faster, the urge to slow down becomes more apparent. Using handmade wares can remind us to slow enough to enjoy daily moments. For more information on my process, see my profile page.

Everything is food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe except of course the vases and planters. Shipping costs are based on the farthest US location from the East Coast. If the cost is much lower, I'll refund you the difference. I ship to the address in your PayPal account unless you tell me otherwise.

International Shoppers....shipping prices are for Int'l Priority USPS mail which is clearly quite expensive. I am happy to ship First Class to save some money, but can't guarantee a safe and timely arrival. Let me know in the sellers comment if you'd like to down grade shipping and I'll refund the difference.

Thanks for looking!

Jen used her creativity and talents to make a dream come true, and I am very grateful. I requested some custom work, and she responded beautifully. The planters are unique, functional and beautiful. I'm really enjoying them. Thank you, Jen!

I love this piece! It looks great on my shelf, where everything except the Belleek vase is an Etsy handmade item!

About

Nature inspired handbuilt pottery for the home and garden

My interest in ceramics began in 1995 in a community college classroom. I instantly responded to the fluid nature of clay and its rich history. This led me to the State University of New York in New Paltz where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Ceramics in 2001.

After college, I focused on making terracotta planters which I sold at craft fairs for a few years. In 2007 I made the switch to a more durable mid-range stoneware clay, something I missed since college. This allowed me to produce tableware and home décor items with brighter colors than terracotta or even high fire stoneware.

My imagery and design sense come from a love of gardening, plants and nature in general. I am interested in texture, color, and how glazes interact with the surfaces. A love of antiques and ceramic art history also inform my work as do colors reminiscent of those found in nature.

Thanks so much to all my wonderful customers!

I enjoy using many different textures and glazes so each piece is often one-of-a-kind. I am happy to make sets or reproduce a piece that has been sold as a custom order, just ask!

All tableware items are food safe and dishwasher friendly, but handwashing is recommended. This gives you a chance to see the bottoms of each piece, usually outfitted with a design too.

Please inquire about consignment and wholesale.

I have stopped using terracotta clay, so if you are interested in a reproduction of something from that line, it will vary a bit. Please inquire about custom work. General turn around time is three weeks to a month.

All designs are property of Jen Jeglinski Ceramics and may not be reproduced in any way.
