This is my fourth order from Jill. I love the creamy green glaze on these plates. The shape is deep enough for salads and sauces. A perfect addition to my home. So artistic and special. Love these!

About

A connection with clay.

I love art. I love the process of creating and thoroughly enjoy clay. I have always felt a connection with clay, the way it feels, the way it seems to take shape.I find it interesting the way the clay takes on textures and imprints, giving it fossil-like appeal. My pottery is organic in nature and style, with a very earthy textural feel. My work is hand-formed using a variety of handbuilding techniques, and ranges from functional everyday pottery to sculptural pieces.
It has been an interesting & educational journey navigating Art Fairs, Galleries & Shows... so happy and appreciative to have found Etsy and it's wonderful community!

Thank you and Welcome to my shop.
All pottery and birch bark pieces are individually handcrafted by me in my studio in Western Michigan. I am inspired by most things found in the natural world...rocks, fossils, feathers, and antlers to name a few. The textures & colors seem to make their way into my artwork.
