Super cute and prettier in person...I didn't expect them to look hand crafted/stamped. I can't wait to send them out.

About

I Create From the Heart For You.

I opened my shop on Etsy in 2010 due to a wonderful friend who told me every time I made invitations, cards, painted a painting, for a friend's new home, created a unique gift you would not find in stores, or even throwing fun and eccentric parties. My friend would say, "Do you know how creative you are?" My response was simply, "Anyone can do this." She convinced me to start a shop on this wierd named .com place called Etsy and I said fine I'll try it out. Plus it is so much fun to hear about the FUN, or thoughtfulness that people would say coming from something that was created by me--from the heart. I decided to try my hand at selling unique and special items to others around the world and hoping to evoke the same reactions I saw up close and personal. Smiles from afar? or A patron feeling good about giving one of my creations as a gift.

I love history, the ocean, reading, writing and am proud of my heritage, so a lot of that is shown throughout the creations in my store. I never stop creating, now it's just about getting tough and placing them on-line in my shop. I may not have hundreds of items to sell, but I beleive in qualtiy then quantity for what I do for my shop.

For everyone else they may have a different philosophy, and I respect each and everyone of the Etsy shop owners on here. That is what Etsy is all about. All kinds of people selling a plethera of unique and amazing items. I feel at times we are one big family helping the other with items they need for the other to begin their project, so at many times I am thankful they are selling thousands of items. I love "Payinf It Forward" too. I buy from my fellow Etsyings, Etsyers? Everyone has their own ideas and themes. I respect them all. For me, I think my shop is selling exactly what it needs to, and when I'm ready to create more to sell I will. Thank you Etsy and my fellow Etsy friends. Most of all thank you to my one good friend who gave me the idea and inspiration to begin my shop: The Craftique Boutique.

Always wishing lots of luck to all who have the courage to open their shop and sell their creations, goods we may need, and so much more. Joanna Davis-Leventis

Creating something so unique or being inspired by another artist or person, thing is as close to inner peace as I can express. I love and take great care, and put forth all I am into what I create. As it can be exhausting, when someone falls in love with what you have made you are energized to do more. Make more, be better at it. I place a piece of my soul into all I do. Nothing is every parcialy done just for the monetary reasons. One of the strangest things is the act of creation. You are faced with a blank slate—a page, a canvas, a block of stone or wood, a silent musical instrument. You then look inside yourself. You pull and tug and squeeze and fish around for slippery raw shapeless things that swim like fish made of cloud vapor and fill you with living clamor. You latch onto something. And you bring it forth out of your head like Zeus giving birth to Athena. And as it comes out, it takes shape and tangible form. It drips on the canvas, and slides through your pen, it springs forth and resonates into the musical strings, and slips along the edge of the sculptor’s tool onto the surface of the wood or marble. You have given it cohesion. You have brought forth something ordered and beautiful out of nothing. You have glimpsed the divine.

As one of my favorite photographer's say, "When it comes to pricing a job: Lots of fun, I don't charge a lot! Little fun, I charge a lot." I have so much fun doing what I do so why charge a lot only to deter a shopper from buying an item I made with a genuine smile on my face and in my heart?!

Payment
Paypal is a great way to pay securely. I have faith in this 3rd party company to protect the buyer and seller.
Shipping
Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred as of October 31st, 2010. Thank you for understanding.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not have a 'set in stone' policy for this section since I sell so many different items. Refunds and exchanges will depend upon the item. If the item is a custom made product, and it is asked to be personaIized, for example with your name, so I could not take it back and offer a refund, but I will still work with you to make you happy. I will always try to make you feel better about the transaction, but if it is clearly my mistake then 100% refund without question will come to you.

I believe in making you 100% happy and comfortable shopping at my boutique, so we can always make adjustments, or refunds depending on the nature of the issue and the item in question. Thank you very much!! I believe you should always feel comfortable purchasing something or having something custom made.

With that said, please understand there may be a an instance where a refund or nothing can be done to receive a refund. Joanna Leventis
Additional policies and FAQs
If a refund is given and the item was shipped, shipping charges may not be refunded unless we see the matter of refund was due to my fault entirely. If an item is lost I will resend it unless the product is over a certain amount, but this is only with the purchase of insurance, so please let me know if you would like to add any insurance to your item(s) before you pay for your treasures. Insurance can be added to any item per request, and I will not charge anything other than what the courier charges if insurance is requested. For anything over $25 I suggest purchasing insurance. It is always worth it in the end. Insurance will help both of us feel better in case the courier messes up the box and breaks the items, or loses the items. This is what makes insurance worth it.
