We make affordable pottery for daily use

We opened December of 2011 and reopened August of 2013 after a few months off. Jmacs Pottery started by accident really. The owner Jeremy had recently had hip replacements and needed something to do during the recovery. He joined the Helena Clay Arts Guild and eventually started making so much pottery he had to sell it. Fast forward a few years and two store fronts later and we find ourselves here.

We are now in the downtown district of Helena, Montana. This is now a great location where we have the room to have classes for learning how to make pottery. It was a big risk but believe it will pay off during the holiday season.

All our work is food safe and made to last. Our pottery is thrown and fired in our studio using an mid range electric kiln. We use our local supplier the Archie Bray Foundation for our clay and materials.
