Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
If you are unhappy with your product or it arrived damaged in any way, please contact us. We want to make it right. Any refunds we offer will be made via Paypal. You may need to sign-up for a free Paypal account to receive the refund.

Our base refund and exchange policy for different types of products is as follows:

Damaged Food Items - If jars or other packages arrive damaged, we will provide a replacement free of charge and we'll pay to ship the replacement product. You need not return the item.

Spoiled Food - While we follow the most up-to-date, USDA and NCHFP approved methods for canning and preserving, you are purchasing home-preserved products and we don't have the ability to do the quality assurance testing that big manufacturers can do. As such, there is always a very small possibility that you will receive a canned item that has spoiled. In most cases, the spoilage will be obvious. Please inspect all canned products when you open them, noting any strange odors, colors, or the presence of mold or "fuzz". If the product does not appear safe to eat, dispose of it immediately and contact us for a refund or replacement. Always refrigerate canned/jarred products after opening unless otherwise noted on the label or packaging. We will not be held liable for illnesses caused by our products or by mishandling of our products by the consumer. Use products at your own risk.

Other returns or exchanges - If a non-food product wasn't the color, shape, size, or quality expected, we want to make things right. Non-food items may be returned to us AT YOUR COST for a full refund of the item sales price or exchanged for another like product.

We reserve the right to change these policies at any time without notice. The policy in effect when you purchased your product will be used to settle any disputes over obligation.
Currently, we only accept payment via Paypal Or Square, which includes all major credit cards. You do not need to have a Paypal account to do business with us, nor does Paypal need to keep your personal info on file.

All payments must be made before the product will ship.

Base Shipping Rate ($8 – Covers most single-item orders)

Unless otherwise specified in the product description, all orders will be charged a base rate of $8 per order for shipping, packaging materials, and handling. This will cover most single-item orders.

Large or Multi-Item Orders

If your order cannot be packaged and shipped for our base rate, you will receive a PayPal or Square invoice for the additional charges. Your order will not ship until the extra charges are paid. If you wish to cancel the order due to additional shipping charges, we will refund the cost of any restockable items plus shipping charges. Completed made-to-order items that aren’t resellable will not be refunded.

Small Order Partial Refunds

If your order can be packaged and shipped for less than our base price, we will refund any overage once your order ships.

First-Class Mail Option

Small crocheted items often fit in a standard envelope-style mailer. In the event that this option is cheaper than Priority Mail service, we will offer you the choice to ship via First Class mail in the product description. Please specify in the "message to seller" that you wish to use the First-Class option. First-Class mail usually takes 3 to 5 business days with no delivery time guarantees or tracking numbers.

Processing & Shipping Times

We will ship as soon as possible and not more than 7 calendar days from your order date. Most orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail, which has a 2-3 day turnaround.

Shipping Upgrades (Overnight, Etc.)

Shipping upgrades to faster service (such as overnight) or including cold packs will be handled on a case-by-case basis via special request unless the specified upgrade appears as a product in the store. The customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs.

Warm-Weather Shipping of Chocolate

Our foods that contain chocolate do not tolerate shipping during the extreme heat of summer. We reserve the right to discontinue these products, cancel orders for these products, require next-day shipping with cold packs, or limit shipping of these products to a specific geographical area during warm weather months.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I return mason jars?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it. For each undamaged jar you return, we'll issue you a 60 cent ($0.60) store credit.

Can I return mason jars I got elsewhere for store credit?
Yes, provided they use standard Ball or Kerr two-part (ring and lid) enclosures. Please, no spring-loaded jars with rubber gaskets.

Can I return jars without rings?
Yes. We'll accept jars without rings and issue the full 60 cent credit.

What is the "Case Club" program?
The Case Club program has been discontinued at this time.

How do I redeem store credit?
Redeem your store credit in one of two ways: 1) Make a purchase and indicate that you wish to use store credit in the comment field. Specify the dollar amount. We will credit the dollar amount back to your Paypal account; 2) Place an order via "Convo" or via email. We will calculate the cost of your order after credit and send you an invoice and a PayPal money request. Following receipt of payment, we will ship your order.

Can store credit be used for shipping?
No, you cannot use store credit to pay for shipping.

Do You Offer Gift Cards?
At this time, we do not offer gift cards. We may offer them in the near future.
We only use your contact and shipping info to process your order. That includes use of the following services: PayPal, Square, Etsy, and USPS (to email you tracking info).

We will never share your info for any other reason ever. Period.
