It looks like there are a lot of anti social couples out there today yellow_heart
Fold and stack, fold and stack, fold and stack. I love seeing the patterns these make when stacked up! My new fox paper is now ready to find a new home :)
This is how I make my bottle openers. Once the design has been pressed into the bottle opener back, I have to add the key chains using a screwdriver. The tape helps protect the backs from scratches. As you can imagine my nails don't last long doing this!

About

Printed goods made with love.

I've always loved design and illustration, even from an early age I was scribbling on anything that stayed still long enough, I even had pens for the bath tub! Most children's Christmas lists contained dolls ands toys but mine always contained every craft kit and design set that the Argos catalogue could hold. So when I left university in 2010 with my First Class Honours Degree in Graphic Communication I knew I wanted to do something creative for me. A year or two later, whilst working on a pepper farm, I created a small handmade business which I ran in the evenings. I decided that I wanted to chase my own dreams instead of working for someone else.

If you’ve already have a nose around my shop, you will see that everything is bright and colourful! I’m bit of a colour magpie and I love to make my own hand drawn ‘fonts’. This makes the cards 100% unique to me and I thoroughly enjoying making them too.

Do you love secret messages and surprising people? Great! Me too! I designed a whole range of cards around this concept and it’s the one product that I enjoy making the most! You can surprise practically anyone with one of my scratch cards. I designed them for a Godmother, Godfather, Godparents and for announcing pregnancies. But it doesn’t stop there. I even have them for your bridesmaid, your future maid of honour and even little flower girls. I’ve even made them for wedding proposals, those are definitely my favourite to make! I never know if they say yes or not though... I hope they are all Yes's!

Whilst I specialise in special occasion greeting cards, I also create a range of personalised pocket mirrors, enamel pins, and prints. I love the community over on Instagram, stripes and the colour yellow. I am also the human responsible for clogging up your Instagram feed with amazing makers every March with #MarchMeetTheMaker and in December with #MeetTheMakerWeek. (Sorry, not sorry!)

#MarchMeetTheMaker is a 31 day Instagram Challenge, set by myself, @JoanneHawker that runs throughout March every year. But it's more than just a challenge, it's a creative community of designers and makers that come together to show people what they can do. It's about building each other up, making new connections, telling your small business story, growing your confidence (and Instagram following) and most importantly, it's about putting yourself out there. I hope to chat with you over on the ‘gram soon?

Anyway, enough about Instragram! I gave up my job on the pepper farm chasing caterpillars and looking after fruit for the supermarkets in 2016 to go full time doing what I love the most! Designing, making, and being my own boss!
Everything that you see within my store has been dreamt up, designed and illustrated by me from my little home studio in the Somerset countryside.
