For me the 8" is the perfect weight and size plus a lovely lavender scent. Most relaxing!

I love this wrist rest. I was so glad to find one this long. I am a textile designer so I need to be able to have my left hand on my keyboard and my right hand alternating between my drawing, tablet and my mouse. So I need one to go more across the desk edge. Most wrist rests only go as far as the keyboard. This really helps. And it's so cute and smells really nice with the lavender. Really happy with my purchase.
